My workshop collections require ALL DLC to function. If you don't have the DLC please use RimPy to uncover and remove DLC-specific mods!

Please bring any technical issues to my Discord: http://discord.gg/mrsamuelstreamer
This allows us to look at technical logs, give clear instructions on fixes, and link to relevant other mods/files!

WARNING

This modpack contains mods I wouldn't normally use, in fact it was designed exactly with that in mind! I'm talking Rim War, Rimworld of Magic, BIG HEFTY PERFORMANCE-HEAVY MODS.

This modpack is NOT recommended at all. Especially if you're running a lower spec PC. It will chug, it will stutter, it will break. This is expected, this is by (bad) design. You have been warned.

1: Introduction

Created for my Youtube series found here:

This modpack is a blight, a curse, a sinful experience. The performance is dreadful and the experience totally questionable. Want to see anime cat girls fist-fight Space Marines? Want a harem of 7 waifus across various gooner-bait mods? Ever thought "gee, that scyther could do with being milked"? Well then congratulations, you've found a modpack for you.



2: Necessary Files

I am currently only using RimPy to manage mod lists due to issues arising with the in-game mod manager, apologies for inconvenience but its the only way I can ensure smooth operation currently. Non-RimPy users can load the mod list from the provided save (load into the save, it will warn you about a mod mismatch, click "Load Modlist from Save".

3: Installation Guide

For any new mod pack you should FULLY reset Rimworld, and all related files, to ensure no outdated or incompatible mods remain.

Reinstalling Rimworld or unsubscribing from mods WILL NOT fully reset your installation and old files can still persist!


Delete all files in the following folders:

Local Mods: Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Mods (Manually installed mods folder)

Steam Mods: Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100 (Steam mod download folder)

User data: AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios (Your user configurations, saves, etc)
You can get to this folder by typing EXACTLY(without quotes) "%appdata%/../LocalLow" into the Windows Explorer (the bar at the top of windows folders, etc)

Then open Rimworld, reapply your user settings (screen resolution, volume etc), ensure that no mods are still present in your save.



RimPy:

DO NOT use RimPy's inbuild download tool. This has been reported to download wrong/old mods, incomplete modpacks, etc. ONLY use RimPy to SORT the modpacks. ONLY use Steam to download mods!

1. Follow the above steps to clean your installation
2. Subscribe to all with the button on the STEAM WORKSHOP.
3. Click on "Import List" and choose the load order file
4. Press "Sort"
5. Press "Save"
6. Press "Run"
7. Be PATIENT. If it crashes, lags, hangs, etc, then it is still loading. It will take a long time to load with 300+ mods. I personally have to wait 5 - 10 minutes for the game to load, slower systems will take even longer!

After this go to the "Configs" step below!



Base Game/Non-RimPy Users:

PLEASE consider swapping to RimPy, it is a much more useful tool capable of auto-sorting your mods, cleaning up unneeded files, and optimising textures to save on memory usage!

1. Subscribe to the collection, and allow the download time to complete - might take a while!

2. Download the load order file from the above "Load Order (Base Game)" google drive link.

3. Go to the modlists folder, this will be something like "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\ModLists" folder.

You can do this by typing EXACTLY(without quotes) "%appdata%/../LocalLow/Ludeon Studios/RimWorld by Ludeon Studios/ModLists" into Windows Explorer (the bar at the top of windows folders, etc)

4. Paste the .RML file from Google Drive into the modlists folder

5. Restart Rimworld ONCE the file has been copied

6. Be PATIENT. If it crashes, lags, hangs, etc, then it is still loading. It will take a long time to load with 300+ mods. I personally have to wait 5 - 10 minutes for the game to load, slower systems will take even longer!

After this go to the "Configs" step below!



Configs:

The configs are mod settings which have been adjusted so that your experience matches mine and is working as intended. If you skip this step many things will not work, and a lot of the features will be broken.

1. RUN THE GAME ONCE. Then open the configs zip you downloaded from above and copy all of the files within to the following folder:

"AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Config"

You can get to this folder by typing EXACTLY(without quotes) "%appdata%/../LocalLow" into the Windows Explorer (the bar at the top of windows folders, etc), then click Ludeon Studios -> Rimworld by Ludeon Studios -> Config

2. Replace all files if prompted



Quickstart

Included are several powerful mods that let you customise the entire game to your liking. These mods include:
- Total Control (powerful, complex faction editior)
- Faction Customiser (name, recolour, change ideology, and relations of factions)
- Map Reroll (change your starting map, and refresh the save to scratch)
- Map Designer (alter all of the terrain and features of generated maps, works with map reroll!)
- Character Editor (adjust colonists whenever, however, good for fresh starts)
- RIMMSqol (powerful and complex tool, change pretty much everything in game!)

Want to change the starting characters?
Open character editor by clicking on the button on the bottom right of the bar, next to the main menu button. From there you can remove, add, change, or customise characters.

Want to change map?
Use the reroll map function (dice in the top right, needs to be enabled in mod settings). Use this with map designer (from the mod settings menu) to customise all the map terrain and features.

Want a new biome?
Enable dev mode, and god mode. Go to the world, form caravan, select your pawns (only), click "form instantly", move them to where you want them to be, when they're travelling click "teleport to destination". Abandon your base, then settle the new tile. Use the reroll map mod to refresh everything from there.



4: FAQ

Q: I have a "Mod mismatch" window trying to load the save game!
A: Ignore, occasionally mods are removed if they cause issues, update, disappear from workshop, etc.

Q: Is this a virus? (I get this a lot)
A: Youtube is my job, I have 220k+ subscribers - if I tried to do anything malicious I would lose my job.

Q: Why didn't you include X mod?
A: I only had ~48 hours to create the modpack and produce the accompanying video. I'm always up for new suggestions.
