Description
Generate smaller worlds. That's all.

Smaller world means performance boost and more different biomes nearby.

Each slider step changes world tile count by a factor of three. It is not possible to have smaller steps.

Powered by Harmony
You can add this mod to existing saves (no effect on already generated worlds).
Removal of this mod is possible, but not advised if a size your world is non-default (you world would be stretched to default size, but no new bases would be generated, so it would look quite empty).

All original code in this mod is licensed under the MIT license[opensource.org].

Compatibility
This mod is detour-free and should not break anything.
Should work with any mod which is not detouring planet generation settings page.
Realistic Planets - compatible.
Prepare Landing - you have to turn off its "precise world generation percentage" option.

Known issues
Tiny worlds with low coverage and extra faction mods can have issues with not being able to find a tile for every faction.
"Journey offer" quest requires big enough world to happen. If your world is too small, your only option would be to build your own ship.

Rim War is now patched.
For this mod, getting CaravanOptions helps balance caravan distance/time. For 'tiny' I used 0.5 (half caravan speed)

This mod is great by the way. I never got the allure of having a giant, lifeless world. Being smaller makes it more personal, imo.

Just an FYI for anybody who is not seeing the slider when creating a world; it is likely that you have installed a mod called Rim War. They are not compatible according to the Rim War author. Although, he is looking into finding a way to make it compatible.

any reported issues with this mod enabled preventing Save Our Ship 2 asteroid/wrecks from spawning in space?

That's extremely strange. I have lo idea how it can be related.

Also, load order does not matter. This mod directly alters the game code itself.

They didn't remove the characters, but turned them into human from the different races they where (Kijin, Dragonian, Moyo etc). I put the mod as high up as i could, besides "Realistic Planets".

This mod removed my custom faction/characters from an existing save, and when i created a new world the mod "Prepare Carefully" didn't show up.

If the slider does not appear, then other mod is likely detouring that page of world generation. It is an easy,. but very dirty way to do things, and it is innately incomportable with anything else. Nothing I can do on my side, it is a destructive behavior of the other mod.

OK, scratch what I said earlier. This works fine on 1.2 unstable, Steam just corrupted the workshop download :/

BTW, thanks for this! I consider this as essential mod, as I love the extra performance + having access to different latitudes from my colony.
