The Sanguophage mod offers an immersive experience, where players must navigate complex management of their sanguophages' hemogen needs and the captivating dynamics of different blood types. Brace yourself for blood moon events, the challenge of the hemohunter mental state, and master new deathrest building enhancements.

Vanilla Races Expanded - Sanguophage adds following mechanics to the base game:

[forms.gle]

Q: Will this mod work without Biotech DLC?
A: No. It uses the new gene system to work with Biotech.

Q: Will you make a HAR version of this race?
A: No, this is exclusively for the Biotech DLC.

Q: Do these genes appear in genepacks in the game?
A: They do! You can find the individual genes and apply them to any pawn!

Q: Can I find this race in the game?
A: Yes, the new Sanguophage variants have a chance to appear whenever a Sanguophage pawn is spawned, for example during the Sanguophage meet up event.

Q: Can I add it to an ongoing save?
A: Yes, but I don’t think you can safely remove xenotype mods, so don’t come crying when your game breaks if you remove mods!

Q: I don’t have the Psychofluid Well in my game!
A: You don’t have Royalty DLC. It will not be available without it.

Q: Does this mod work with any other sanguophage mods?
A: I don’t see why it shouldn’t. We don’t change the base sanguophage - we only add new ones.

Q: Can I put other hemogen types in the Hemogen network?
A: No, all Deathresting structures need standard hemogen, and as such the network only accepts standard hemogen also.

Q: I have a suggestion!
A: Excellent! Pop it in the comments section.

Q: CE compatible?
A: No idea. If it is, I’d appreciate if someone from CE let me know.

We need a sub mod between this one and VE brewing so our Sanguophages can be all decadent and sip on various blood alcohols.

Sure

Is it intended that Corpsefeeder can be used on Basic Androids from Vanilla Races Expanded - Android?

It happened on an old save too. I have tried deconstructing and reconstructing the casket. Sending the Strigoi off the map and back in. Tried toggling the power. Just don't understand why it keeps re-occuring.

No idea. They have no extra code for deathresting, they are using base game genes

Hi everyone. Having trouble with this mod. My Strigoi pawn refuses to deathrest. Her deathrest meter is at 3% so i direct her to go and lay in her casket which is attached to a single accelerator. But when she gets into the casket she instantaneously gets back out and goes about other tasks. I have got other mods installed but I uninstalled everything apart from this mod and it's dependants, but still having this issue. Any ideas on what is going wrong? Tried to deathrest her in her bed to with the same outcome. TIA.

Ahhh, I see. To be honest I don't remember. You can check the code for the abilities on GitHub
Maximillionysis May 10 @ 3:37pm
That's what I've been trying to ask. The ability just defines that it can drain from "other sanguophages." I was asking if it was a specific gene it looked for, or if it was the xenotypes that defined what is and isn't considered "Other sanguophages."

I apologize if these questions seem roundabout or if it appears like I'm being difficult. I'm not trying to be, though I know sometimes I'm bad at wording my questions.
Sarg Bjornson  [author] May 10 @ 1:27pm
Well, the ability defines what target it can apply to, so it's the same thing
Maximillionysis May 10 @ 1:23pm
@Sarg Bjornson Hey thanks for the reply! But that's not quite what I was asking. I know the drainer/one doing the extraction needs to have the Sanguofeeder gene. But what I was trying to ask was if the target being drained/extracted from mattered, and in what way it mattered.

Apologies if I worded my previous comment poorly.
