Description
MAJESTIC FOLIAGE
a [Majestic Trees] framework is a pseudo framework built around systems introduced in Comigo's [Majestic Trees] and using XML Extensions aiming to spruce up your Rimworld experience. It was made with the goal of providing the means of expanding on the mechanics and coverage of [Majestic Trees] all while giving the user more freedom to customize their experience. Unlike the original mod [MF] is made based around vanilla textures and therefore is easier to keep current with modern Rimworld.

EXPLANATION
[Majestic Foliage] is a mod that brings the means to increase the size of objects, mainly trees and foliage, while giving said object a "Transparency_" so you're able to more easily view behind it. This is the same sort of system first used in [Majestic Trees] with the main exception is that it is based on Vanilla textures and not custom ones. I cannot match either artstyle to any comparable level, but I can edit ones that exist in the game to be compatible. You can find addon backs with the original textures listed below.

[MAJESTIC FOLIAGE] is fully operational without either addon provided by me which contains the original textures and sizes from their respective mods. Seeing as it already has 2 texture packs I tried to make them in a way that others could replicate with the right knowhow, ergo pseudo-framework.

FEATURES :
• Changes to drawing layer of trees and other foliage so they render above buildings, rocks, animals, etc.
-Perspective Trees by Owlchemist is this feature and is therefore included in this mod as a whole and is unnecessary in it's current state.
• Tree Transparency, either by mouse or entire map. A cutaway of an object leaving a "stump" and a ghost image of the foliage in the original's place.
-Settings menu for size and refresh rate. Toggle in bottom corner.
• Support for all Vanilla trees (sans crop trees), tall mushrooms, and more; from base through Biotech.
• Greener Terrain variation by Comigo to rid yourself of the drab brown Rimworld experience.
• Menu Options for most settings and patching powered by XML Extensions.
-In game selection for texture packs, without overwrite to existing textures. (restart required)
-Various Size presets to customize to your liking. (restart required)
-Size sliders for all currently supported foliage. (updates on menu close)
This mod contains no changes to gameplay values; it is a purely visual experience.

QUESTIONS / ANSWERS
Q:Why aren't my trees Majestic? I installed the texture pack.
A:You have to set your preference in textures as it doesn't default to a newly installed pack. You can find the options in Mod Options by clicking the [+]

B:There is a toggle in the bottom corner of the screen, a tree and magnifying glass. Try that.

Q:Why does my settings page show errors?

A:Could be a lot of things, first make sure you have an option selected in all categories of buttons, if that doesn't work try resetting your settings and restarting the game.

Q:Can you add support for a mod called [X]?
A:You can! Make some textures, it's really not that hard to make basic ones. Ghosted or semi transparent images will work fine.

Q:Why do some of the transparency textures look so off/pop in and out?
A:Variations cause the mod to pull the wrong texture when looking for the transparency. Others, I'm looking at you cypress, have weird shading or were originally made using an outdated source.

Q:Is it savegame compatible?
A:Affirmative. Removal is untested but should be fine.

Q:I think I found a bug. What should I do?
A:Post or the very least examine your error logs for the source of the error. Bring them here constructively.

Q:Is the mod compatible with [X]?
A:Maybe. Check here first.
•If a mod adds variants to trees covered by [MF] (ie. adding fruit to the anima tree).
-leafless and polluted are currently covered by the the MajesticFramework.PlantExtension and their original
•If a mod alters, or attempts to alter, a covered item's texture path without making new textures.
•[Perspective: Trees] by Owlchemist, this only because this mod contains the same patches as it does, no alterations.

Q:Is the mod compatible with [Combat Extended]?
A:[Majestic Foliage] does not change the items thingClass the way [Majestic Trees] did, which I was informed was the issue with previous [Combat Extended] compatibility. Untested, need information.

Q:CE compatible?
I suggest getting the Ability to Read and checking elsewhere. Or checking yourself and letting me know.

I've no contractual obligations, so I'm comfortable in the grey area of mod continuation (very comfortable; it's kinda what I do). I have an updated version of this in testing; stay tuned.

It's several but you have to decompile the dll first to get a c sharp project to work from

The license of this mod doesn't permit me to do so. By not providing one the default is fairly restrictive. It's probably fine, but I cannot be involved in dubious license things due to my own contractual limitations.
