I've no contractual obligations, so I'm comfortable in the grey area of mod continuation (very comfortable; it's kinda what I do). I have an updated version of this in testing; stay tuned.

It's several but you have to decompile the dll first to get a c sharp project to work from

The license of this mod doesn't permit me to do so. By not providing one the default is fairly restrictive. It's probably fine, but I cannot be involved in dubious license things due to my own contractual limitations.

Just needed a small tweak to the PlantGraphic harmony patch:
[HarmonyPatch(typeof(Plant), nameof(Plant.Graphic), MethodType.Getter)]

And swapping over to MapMeshFlagDefOf.Things instead of casting 1 to MapMeshFlag

So I've been able to update this to 1.5 but due to the lack of license can't upload the update. If @Hohen you'd approve I'm happy to dump the update on Github for you. I had to work from the DLL so it's probably got awful variable names etc.

I'd been holding off starting a new save to use this mod until after 1.5 released. And I keep waiting. It'd be nice to at least have an update from the mod author on the status.

while not the best alternative its really the only option I can find you can use RG Bigger Trees to make the trees bigger and Regrowth mods to rexture/add more (yes RG bigger trees has support for regrowth)"

Technically works in 1.5 but with nonstop errors that will likely cause performance issues. Eagerly looking forward to the official update. The vanilla trees are just terrible in comparison.

Guys, you can use it. I am using it and have 237 mods running.
The only thing that does not work correctly until they update it is the transparancy issue.

But that should be a small price to pay for what you get from this mod.

Just like when 1.4 released with Biotech, it will be updated. But it will probably still take a while. Unlike last time however it did not break the transparancy issue, very unfortunate.

Transparency completely bug, i'm on 1.5 with all DLCs.
when i set cursor on trees, it take 30-60 sec to set them transparent.
Lot of trees clip transparent/not transparent randomly, please help.
I can't play without theses trees...

Other then log spam, I'm not getting any functional or visual errors. no white cubes, but I dont have baby trees. (theyre just invisible) so similar to what raven posted. I might still wait before using this mod. im no modder to fingers crossed someone can fork it.

I got the tags to think its 1.5 but I get my log spammed every tick with errors. It doesnt seam to break anything with small tests in dev mode. You change the tags in the about.xml. just gets rid of the warning. im no modder. Hopefully Ferny gets back with details

To clarify, the white squares of presumably missing textures are only for immature trees, fully grown trees work

How did you fix the errors with missing textures with this + Djeeshka? I get some trees working properly while some are white squares.

The only thing a little bit busted is the tree transparency system, when I turned it on it stayed permanent on the two trees I started with and wouldn't move with the mouse.

@AlmostMidnight Regarding transparency, there isn't just an option to enable in the mod settings but also a toggle button in the lower right UI. I got stuck on this myself for a while because I couldn't figure out why it wasn't working.

Obviously alot of work, but Snowy Trees and Higher Res Textures for x2 Vanilla Tress would be wonderful.

Understandable that both of those things, Snowy trees Especially, requires alot of work.

Not.. a total dealbreaker, but when paired with "Regrowth Tundra" it's a mix of these trees and Regrowth, and the two different art styles is a bit jarring.
