Description

I have risen once again out of the crust of the earth to put even more fancy hair onto your pawns heads. This is a HD update of my original Roo’s Royalty Hairstyles Mod, with all hairs being redesigned from the ground up at 512x512. They range from casual yet well-kept hairstyles, to dinner-with-the-faction-leader-at-2,-destroying-a-base-by-6 hairstyles!

Depends On:
Hair Modding Plus - Introduces secondary colours, masks and hair back sprites.

Works Well With:

Character Editor – Allows you to customise pawns on the fly.
Cherry Picker – Remove individual hairstyles that you don’t like.
HD Pawn Rendering - Renders hairs at full resolution.
Hair Modding Plus - Introduces secondary colours, masks and hair back sprites.

Q. Is this mod available at the standard pawn resolution, not HD?
A. A lite version of this mod, where the hairs are fixed at 128x128, can be downloaded for free on my Ko-Fi page.
My Ko-Fi handle is /rooboid

Q. I want the old version back!
A. The legacy version of this mod will remain on the Steam Workshop for all your low-res needs.

Q. Can I play this mod without the Rimworld Royalty / Ideology DLC?
A. Yes. Though I would advise using a mod that allows you to customise your pawns, so that you can access all of the hairs in this mod.

Q. Does this mod support Humanoid Alien Races 2.0?
A. Technically yes, but you might encounter some visual collision between any large Royal headpieces, such as crowns or circlets, and certain alien races.

Q. The headpieces and accessories in this pack are really dark on my pawns.
A. Please download Hair Modding Plus to fix this issue.

Q. Why did you redesign some of the hairstyles? Couldn’t you have just scaled them up?
A. Users commented that the old hairs didn’t entirely mesh with the vanilla art style. So, I wanted to go through them one by one and aim to match it as best as I could to help with the ✨immersion value ✨. I hope you’ll enjoy these redesigns as much as I’ll enjoy not seeing the old ones in my sleep.

Q. How do I make a hair mod myself?
A. Check out my comprehensive modding guide here.

Q. Can I commission you to make art for my mod / mod page?
A. Sure! I can help you with mod graphics or workshop page layouts. Shoot me a message!

try to raise the topic, make a discussion, instead of responding to something so meaningless, do you think you have time to read comments from other people, or do you have the word "AUTHOR" next to your username?

People really see '1.5' and go down to comment '1.6' like robots, how hard is it to READ u_u

1.6?

Texture variety mods have transitioned with little to no problems since 1.2, folks. Don't worry about the yellow text.

1.6?

FYI, seems to be a coloring issue with evil long hair on the two side bits. They stay gray for me instead of picking up hair color.

Since this mod has been reported working in 1.6 I added it to the No Version Warning-mod

You don't need to remind modders to update their mods, especially not the day after the update comes out. Jfc
