Roo's HD Hairstyles

This hair mod adds a whopping 50+ hairstyles to spice up your Rimworld colonies! I was requested to make a more general hair mod- as opposed to my typical themed ones- but I wanted to give it a bit of added pizzaz!

This plan-for-added-pizzaz lead to this hair mod being HD. The hair textures have been scaled up from the typical 128 x 128 px resolution, to 500 x 500 px! If the increase in size is giving you performance issues, please check the FAQ section.

For maximum pizzaz consider downloading Hair Modding Plus. This mod will work just fine without, but certain hairstyles look better with HMP, as it adds back-of-hair sprites to south-facing pawns and better masking.






Q. The dyed hair / accessories look really dark on my pawns.
Please download Hair Modding Plus to fix this issue.

Q. What other mods does this work well with?
A. HD Pawn Rendering - Hair textures will be compressed to the standard pawn size of 128x128 during vanilla gameplay, but by using mods such as this or [Ry]HD Pawn Textures , these hairs will be rendered at an increased size.
Cherry Picker – Adds functionality to remove individual hairstyles that you don’t like.
Character Editor – Allows you to customise pawns on the fly. You can access all of the hairstyles in this mod here, even ones unavailable to your Ideology.
[KV] Show Hair With Hats or Hide All Hats – I just can’t play Rimworld without this one anymore.
