Extended Curations :: Achievement Scouts

Most of the achievements are for defeating all bosses.
Miscellaneous achievements are for dying 50 times, completing 10 levels, using a warp tunnel, riding a marble and inserting floppy disk in drive.
Bounce an egg during Seaform Acres boss fight for 'Egghead'.
Destroy all bricks during Breakout minigame in level Dice Palace 1 for 'Brickmaster'. The achievement description is wrong, correct level is Dice Palace 1.
Complete all heart palaces to get extra hearts.
Collect all gold gems for 'Lode Runner' achievement. All gems in a level do not need to be collected at the same time, so you can collect them after completing all levels by, using level select.

Savescumming Deathless
Saves are located in:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\NKSTUDIOGAMES\OLI

Backup the registry key after every checkpoint.
If you die, delete the existing key, restore the backup, and continue the game from the main menu. You'll know if done correctly as the game shows the current death count.

Psycho Bathroom

Use the BIG sword mode on the first playthrough and disable it for the second.

First playthrough: win 10 times in a row (ALT+F4 to retry), get enough money within 40 days (as long as you are winning and not dying too much it's easily doable, ALT+F4 to not count losses), continue in new game+ to reach level 50, buy 3 chicken legs, 3 disinfectant sprays and 5 toilet lids.

Second playthrough: keep dying to the first boss to not reach enough money within 40 days (and get 10 losses in a row), on the 41st day you can buy a lottery ticket for "Got Lucky".

🏆Hidden Tutorial
For this one, navigate to the far right on the menu and select "custom." It will say "tutorial" on the next screen; repeatedly activate this until it redirects you to the "HEYYEYAAEYAAAEYAEYAA" YouTube video in your browser instead of the custom levels Steam guide.

Level Completion
Though there are only 8 levels (5 official levels and 3 bonus levels added in a later update), this game will take several hours to complete due to the steep learning curve (not to mention, you will need a perfect streak for the A+ rank in each level for 🏆Beyond Godlike). I highly recommend mimicking the proper keypresses while viewing the videos (as if you're playing the game) to gain some muscle memory before even jumping into each level. You can even do this on slower playback speeds to get a feel for the patterns. This can help you isolate weak points of levels as well. Note that most of the levels are random, with the only exceptions being Mind Twister and Polkka (which can simply be memorized), but the patterns tend to be similar each time you play, just starting from different directions of the screen.

One other thing that worked for me was using two hands on the arrow keys instead of one. By this, I mean I had my left middle finger on the left arrow, left index finger on the down arrow, right index finger on the up arrow, and right middle finger on the right arrow. This helped me react much quicker to incoming objects.

The hardest levels to complete in my opinion are 64.2 (when you're still learning), 64.5, and Polkka. The other two bonus levels are still pretty challenging, but the other main game levels + endless level shouldn't take too long to finish. Good luck!

Super Gravitron Achievement Cheese
Use the custom level "Super Gravitron Achievement Map" for this one. Just walk forward to trigger the Super Gravitron game mode, except this time you'll be protected by the walls and be able to survive for forever, meaning you can get the 1 minute trophy with zero effort. 🏆Super Gravitron: 1 minute

Time Trial V Rank Achievements Cheese
First, open up any of the time trials, then immediately exit to the menu as soon as the countdown ends. From there, open up the custom level "Time Trials Achievement Map" and walk forward. This will trigger a "Time Trial Complete!" screen in which you get the V rank and the corresponding achievement. Repeat for all time trials to get all achievements.

No Death Mode Cheese
This one is a bit more involved. We use the custom map "Big Viridian Triggerer" for setup purposes. Walk forward in the map to become big, then press the "r" key to suicide and immediately press "esc" to retain your big state. Then, start a new game in no death mode. If done correctly, you should be big, meaning you're invincible (sort of) and can clip through walls. Follow Miraglyth's video for the route:

Hunt Down The Freeman

Use 'owf_staging_prep' beta branch.

In case you played the game before and the new ones do not work, you have to delete the "gamestate.txt" file in steamapps>common>Hunt Down The Freeman>HDtF.

How to use console
Enable the developer console under controls and use above commands (bind them to your preferred key) to fly around the map, become invincible or give yourself all weapons and ammo.
For the cleanup, to load the correct checkpoint type in "map" and paste the code from the guide to choose it.
Additional tips
- Make sure to save a few times per chapter in case the game crashes or just to make sure you stay under 2 hours for the speedrun.
- Press TAB to change your loadout to the M16 if needed.
- Larry is one of the 2 that will follow you or be in the corridor after the Claymore section. Just bump into them and let them fight with you until it pops.
- During the Epilogue save at the end for the 2 possible endings.
- If the game never crashed for you, paste in "r_queued_decals 1". You will need to do it again, delete the number and choose the popup so it properly works. Then play the game a bit and while loading a new section the game should crash.

Kabafuda Solitaire

This is the solitaire that is accessed from Drive 0 and Netronics Connect after "downloading" it in-game. To unlock Expert mode, first win the prior difficulties once each. 4 wins total required (One on each difficulty). Stacking 4 of one "suit" together on the tableau (The playing field, not the free slots) will unlock another spare free-slot, up to the maximum of 4 free slots. For this reason, try and prioritise keeping empty columns on the tableau over free slots, as an empty column can hold a stack of the same suit while a free slot cannot.

Sawayama Solitaire

This is the solitaire accessed off of the "desktop" shortcut in-game. It is a relatively simple variant of Klondike Solitaire of which only 10 wins are required. If struggling, reset the board to get aces/lower numbers closer to the "surface".

Steed Force Hobby Studio

You need to assemble each model once - As far as I could tell, paint and decals do not matter for achievements, only the pieces fitting together. All pieces should snap to their nearest parts pretty generously.

HACK*MATCH

Skill-based arcade puzzler. There are 4 stages to this, each with different "specials" that the opponent can use to create garbage or interfere with the board. To deal damage to the opponent, you need to create combos (matching 4 that results in another match to occur after the pieces settle), or to match more than 4 pieces at once. Chaining combos is the most effective at dealing damage and is pretty much required for the 4th stage.

If playing in 2x Visual Mode (Fullscreen, accessible via the in-game "toolbar"), the achievement will not unlock until after exiting this mode and returning to "normal" visual mode. You can still play the entirety in 2x mode, just that the achievement will be delayed in triggering.

20th Century Food Court

Pay specific attention to the counters and sequencers to ensure the correct numbers and "slots" are selected for each, as these are extremely important to the solutions.

Hidden Credits Sequence

Open the "System" shortcut and while on the System tab of the System shortcut, rapidly click the microchip above the "System" heading - Clicking this 4-5 times rapidly should play a cutscene and unlock the achievement.
