Press the hotkeys whenever you need god mode or noclip (must enable sv_cheats 1 beforehand).
Keep in mind that you can't interact with entities such as portals while on noclip.
Disable noclip by pressing the hotkey again.

Start a Campaign

To start a campaign, click on Single Player → New Game → campaign name.

On Mission 1 of the quake campaign, as soon as you spawn in walk to the next room. Immediately on your right is an enemy and a ledge. Kill the enemy and jump on the ledge. Shoot the wall on the right side and it will retreat giving you a secret area and this achievement.

Flyaround until you find a portal on the edge of the map. If you are looking at the silver key on the dock over the water, it's just to the left of that through the wall. You know its the right room if the only (legit) way in or out is a small water hole. turn off "noclip" and the achievement is yours.

Well of Wishes, Nevermore

Fly around until you see a BLUE WALL underwater with a green fish painted on it. Its really hard to miss. Turn off no clip here, pick all the stuff, wait a few seconds and you will get the Well of Wishes achievement.
Now, turn noclip back on and just through the blue wall and up a little bit you will find a portal. That is your secret exist portal (this one took like 1 minute for me to pop, so be patient, it's the right portal).

Sink the Horror Electric

You need to pick up the rune in front of you. Turn on "god" mode (console command). As long as you pick up the rune, you can turn on "noclip" and go straight to the portal this time, no need to kill the boss. Jump through the portal for your achievement.

I flew through the walls until I saw the end portal. Turn NOCLIP off, kill the 2 baddies, pick up the rune and walked through the portal. (it has been reported that you can turn off noclip behind the portal and to avoid killing the the two enemies).

You will want to fly to the bottom of the level. The portal to the secret level is that portal, the one below everything else. You will need to turn "NOCLIP" off before entering the portal. Once you enter the achievement will pop.

Beneath the Blue Chambers

Fly around until seeing the portal, you know you are on the right track when you see the silver key door (fly through that) and then you will see the gold key door. Fly through that. Follow the path and you will see the portal very quickly. You need to turn off NOCLIP pick up the rune and the portal will open. Jump through for your achievement.

Into Sandy's City

Fly around until you see either a big exit portal or an exit arch. They are next to each other. You want the portal, not the arch. The "secret" exit is right next to the main arch exist behind a silver key door. Fly through that door, turn off noclip and jump through the portal to unlock the achievement.

I found the easiest way to find the exists is to usually circle just outside the map, you can see a lot of the map this way. You are looking for an archway. Find it, enter "noclip" again to turn it off and walk through the archway exit.

How to kill the boss: The boss is the big barnacle looking thing on the island in the lava. You will notice a flying spike creature. When you jump in the teleporter you will drop out where ever that spike creature is. You need to time it right. When it goes through the boss, Shub-Niggurath, the barnacle, enter the teleporter. You just tele-fragged the end baddy. Achievement yours.

From your exact starting location the teleporter you are looking for is almost exactly 45 degrees north west (assume forward is north). It is on the same plane as your starting location. Simply turn to left about 40 to 45 degree and you will see it on the edge of the map.

You are looking for teleporting at the bottom of the level. It is nearly in front of your starting location, pretty much head down and forward and you should find it quickly. Go into the tiny room, turn off no clipping and it will teleport you to another portal and that is the true exist (you can probably noclip there but this is faster)

This time you are looking for a secret portal. It is pretty much right in front of you, and under the starting plane. So move forwards just a bit and down and you can't miss it.

You are looking for an exist arch. It is near the rear of the level, on the edge of the level, on about the same plane as your starting location. It will have a gate over that looks like teeth. You might be able to noclip through it, but I turned noclip off in front. Hit the red button and pulled the level right next to it and then it opened and I got the achievement.

You are going to want to go up, to the highest point on the map. When you see a hammer and the silver key you will know you are in the right place. If you look around you will you are supposed to get there by a tram system, but on the edge of the mountain, you will see there is a cliff path you could have taken (if you are doing it legit), There is a spot at the top of the path that overlooks where the silver key is. Turn off no clip so that you are sitting on that spot and the message will pop.

Type "god" and "noclip" and fly to a room with a round thing in the middle. The teleporter is in that but you need to do some stuff to end this level. You will also see a big room with a claw and lighting. I think you need to open that room to activate the exit for the level. So let's do that: back in the room with the round ball thing, there are 4 switches. Simply hit all four of those and the claw with lighting room will open. Kill the claw device and the level will end. Done!

Go down and forwards just a little and you will see the main exist right there. Nearly at the start of the of level, but under the floor. The secret exit is RIGHT NEXT to the main exist, pivoted 90 degrees. You want to take that exist, the smaller one that is facing the west and the achievement will pop once you go through (you need to turn noclip off)

In the beginning turn 180 degrees around and go to the underwater tunnel under the red portal. Turn left and get the yellow armour. Then continue to shambler, who waits where you were heading at the start of the level. There's Quad Damage underwater on the opposite side of stairs which lead to Shambler. Takes about 5-6 strikes and with the armour it's like a walk in the park.
Type "god" and "noclip" and fly to the exit portal. You will see QUAKE written above it. I had to turn off no clip and kill the enemies in the room for the barrier to go down. Jump and the achievement is yours. This can be stacked with the being it on Nightmare as well.

The exits in this level are pipes. Not portals, to arches, or teleporters like the all the other levels in Quake. You are looking for a pipe that is underwater. Head towards the center of the stages. You will see a roundish area. On the bottom level are two of those spider creatures that shoot those spikey balls at you. This is the spot you need to get to. It will be surrounded by a mote of water go in the water and you will see a pipe with bars over it, that is the pipe you want. Go just past the bars and turn off noclip. It should finish the level and the achievement will pop. (If you are clipping in the side of the wall or pipe or bars you will respawn somewhere else, usually the start of the level, so just making sure you are not halfway touching a surface when you turn off noclip)

Click ☰ (last option on main menu) → press P on credits screen → press RMB to return to main menu.
Click 🏆 → spam SPACEBAR and click the trophy to collect gold → press RMB to return to main menu.
Go to character selection screen by clicking any class name → purchase all locked characters.
Upgrade one of each class to tier 20 or more.
Start game with any of the upgraded classes → press G → press ALT to show indicator → defeat the boss. (If pressing G does nothing, repeat step 1)
Press ALT to show indicator again and finish 10 floors.
Complete the game with each class.

Achievement breakdown & tips

Natural progression:

Just started a game company: (Proof of developing first game)

Dream of million hit just came true: (Proof that 1 million copies were sold)

What a great game company: (Proof of running a company for many years)

The game ends when year 21 starts, you can continue playing, but I am not aware of how much you can still do. This is also when this achievement pops.

For the next achievements, some might require some extra work.

Global Game Awards winner ! ! (Proof of winning the Global Game Awards

The game awards happens at the 4th week in the 12th month. To win the actual award, AFAIK a game will most likely require 38, 39 og 40 score, preferably 39/40. Tips for this is to first get all of the best workers that cost the absolute most money, make sure you're also on the 3rd office. The "Hackers" are the best in the game, and you can continously train them with money. I personally used a lot of "Anime" to train them as it is low cost, and increased every single stat.

All good Job. (Proof of mastering all occupations)

This achievement is required to level every single skill up to level 5.

To break it down:

The basic jobs for each employee are: Coder, Writer, Designer or Sound Engineer.

You can unlock more careers for each employee, but you will have to buy the career switching item from the travelling merchant. It is worth to invest in this early.

To unlock director, the employee needs to be level 5 coder and writer

To unlock Producer, the employee needs to be level 5 designer and sound engineer

To unlock Hardware Engineer, the employee needs to be level 5 director and producer.

Once this is fulfilled, and every other career path is level 5, you can switch to Hacker, once leveled to 5, you will unlock the achievement.

A tip I used from this guide made by WDN2010 is to use George Marlin. You can hire him from Vocational School. He will have two career paths at level 5 already, so continue to switch/level everything up to 5 until you get the Hacker path on him.

The company that Kairobot works ! (Proof of hiring Kairobot)

To unlock this, you need to hire Kairobot to your office. Once you have met the pre-requisities, you will see a paper mentioning that Kairo Bot wants to work, after this you can search for applicants via Hollywood Agent, and you can hire him for the achievement to unlock.

The known pre-requisities that I had:

- Reached 20 million+ sales on a single game
- Won 5 GOTY award (the main award, the single awards should be irrelevant AFAIK, but you will probably naturally win them anyways)
- Be past Y14

I recommend focusing on GOTY awards ASAP.

Combinations aren't required AFAIK for game awards, but it is probably a good idea to follow the combinations to earn the most money to make the game more trivial:

Read note about kicking a vending machine.
Kick the vending machine to get Kitchen Key.
Open the safe next to vending machine with 3482.
Go to Kitchen and pick up Saw.
Use Saw on bars.
Get the Rope and go to basement.
Avoid the scissors.
Go to the top floor and enter Supply Room.
Grab the Duct Tape.
Go downstairs and escape.

On the Fourth Day We Had a Feast
Incorrect description. It is only 10 deer but the 10th deer MUST die on the fourth day. Run past deer to make them run towards camp then herd them into your archers.

By the Seventh Day I Cleared an Acre
Unclear but it seems that this is unlocked by clearing enough trees to remove a vagrant camp on each side of the main camp. Can bribe enemies with 1 gold each to allow builders to work through the night.

On the Eighth Day I Fumbled
Villagers can drop coins on the floor, it is the coins the monarch drops that cannot touch the ground. Line vagrants up with the monarchs legs on the horse before dropping coins and they should be caught by the vagrant in midair.

On the Ninth Day I First Ran
Need to wait until the 10th day sign has appeared and disappeared. After that run for the first time and it will pop.

The Tenth Day We Fought Back
Only need to destroy a single portal for this to unlock.

Tips and Strategy:
Progress is only saved when you click 'save and exit'. This can be used to set up checkpoints every few nights that can be reset to in case an attack is sent the wrong evening or enemies break down the walls. Definitely recommended to save often on the road to 100 nights.

Builder shrine adds an extra 80% of the walls hit points and the archer shrine increases damage of arrows. Both are highly recommended for the later waves and the counterattack waves that occur after a portal is destroyed.

Blood moon nights are followed by a night of no attack. Use this time to fill up the shrines and recruit as many people as possible.

Farming is not required, archers with bows will be able to hunt enough rabbits to fill your wallet well enough. Ensure not to knock own too many trees otherwise your archers can get too far from camp to get back before the attacks hit.

You need to find and upgrade the architecture shrine (wooden structure that almost looks like an altar) before you can reach fully upgrade the main camp. This is needed to be able to recruit knights who lead the attacks on the portals. Knights can also be fed 7 coins to increase their resilience. Make sure to time your own attacks so they aren't caught by enemy waves moving towards you.

Save import:
If you played the original game before you can copy over your saves, which will make all three "advanced maps" & "challenge" achievements pop after finishing one each.
The save folders are found under

How to play the game with "any" GPU:

Right-click the game, choose "Properties" and put in "-vulkan" under "Launch Options".

Known issues:
- You will see the inside of your character while moving
- You can not see inside Portals, but changing around with video settings can fix that.
- During the last level (Chamber 19), the game can crash with an "Engine Error", especially if you use "no_clip". Incase you can not progress at all, play the og game instead and import a save.
