Extended Curations :: Achievement Scouts

Drain the Tank: In the Moonlight Tavern, head to the right side of the room and enter the Toilet to unlock the 'Drain the Tank' achievement.
Record Collector: After acquiring the engine room key, proceed to the engine room and then enter the trapdoor to the hold. Inside, you'll find 2 vinyl records. Play these records on the record player to unlock the 'Record Collector' achievement. There is a third vinyl that can be obtained later, but it is part of the storyline and is not necessary to for the achievement.
Crash: Pick up the video game "Cars" from the secret cave. Go to Roland the Ropeman and hand it to him. He'll let you choose an item from his collection. Select the graphic novel and the video game that you had just given him. Return to the Playroom in your submarine and use the video game console to play the game until it crashes.

'Speak characters' Achievement

Follow the guide and play the game until Watracio reaches the Hotel and the last chapter starts where you play as the Moon child.
Close the game and backup the save file. The save file is in the registry:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Celery Emblem\Baobabs Mausoleum™ Demo
To create a backup, right click "Baobabs Mausoleum™ Demo" in the registry and clicking on export.
Finish the game so that you have 12/13 achievements.
Download the old depot:
download_depot 646600 646601 3273331886272561812
Copy the files to your game folder.
Restore the registry entry you backed up earlier by double clicking it.
Continue the game and pick up the 5th statue inside the house. This will give you the 'Speak Characters' achievement.

Why? The older version of the game has wrong achievement triggers. Collecting all 5 statues gives the achievement for talking to all the characters. No need to talk to all the characters.

MELTY BLOOD: TYPE LUMINA

The correct Boss Rush for the Boss Rush completed! achievement is unlocked by completing all stories.
Boss Rush AI is harder than (Hard) Story Mode AI, but can be cheesed by utilizing grapples mostly for the first half of a Boss Rush mode. In the second half, bosses block most straightforward grapples but this gets reduced if you land a combo when they miss or a shield counter combo. (example video just from a grappling standpoint: Example video)
Survival Mode AI gets progressively smarter pas match 10 and starts to feel like Hard mode AI past match 15. Use Heat mode healing mechanic whenever possible to top up HP. Special bars (bottom right) for Heat mode carry over from match to match.
Time attack seems to be the best source of farming CP because the AI stays the same and can be completed sub-10 minutes on easy mode for almost 6.2k CP each run (attached screenshot - can't upload to steam because free weekend is over).
Mash B is recommended because you only need to clear the story on Easy, Medium, and Hard to get the Perfect Clear achievement.

Endings:

Basically, there are 4 endings. The ending received is determined by two main factors:

high/low trust
- most of these are just dialogue choices, but the riddle event after stage 5 greatly affects trust
- game overs always lose trust
- usually top choice = positive; bottom choice = negative
cat event (after stage 7)
- determines whether you play stage 8 onwards

bad ending = ignore cat + low trust
normal ending = ignore cat + average trust
good ending = rescue cat + average trust
happy ending = rescue cat + high trust

Roadmap:

Playthrough 1: Negative Only
Bad Ending: All negative answers through Stages 1-7. Ignore cat.

Playthrough 2: Positive Only
Normal Ending: All positive answers through Stages 1-7. Save before cat event. Ignore cat.
Good Ending: Load save before cat event. Rescue cat. Save at end of Stage 10. Complete remaining stages with lots of game overs.
Happy Ending: Load save before stage 11. Complete remaining stages without (or minimal) game overs. Needs 1100+ trust.

At this point you can have up to 35/36 collectibles, but you must have Michlan's Bane.

DRAGON QUEST TREASURES

Finish all side+story quests (lv40-50 should be enough) to enter post-game. These quests rewards are NOT boosted by Gang Rank.

Once you reach Gang Rank 20, grind to 99 at Snarl B5 to maximize gold rewards from portals (594,000g per sub-1m clear) Video

Getting all 777 Treasures will take up most of your time next to earning 99m (RNG). Some treasures seem to spawn in certain areas, but it's not absolute. Once you've finished your collection, The best way to earn the remaining gold is by hunting Gold Enemies (56k each) using the reload + camera rotation trick to respawn enemies in any area where Gold Golems can spawn.

Starstruck: Prologue

Story Mode

Clear story mode. Can use AUTOPLAY.

Recommended Settings

Free Play (Data → Free Play)

Clear one 20XX track with S RANK (NO MISSES) on any difficulty.
Clear ALL 20XX tracks with A RANK on MASTER mode (including Children of the Moon).

Unlocking Children of the Moon

NEIGHBORHOOD.EXE → Edwin → 1st chapter → 9:15 PM

As Edwin, find the shack in the south of the town and push open the door by walking into it for 30 seconds.

Inside These Walls: During IMPROVISATION, press a single button when the metronome's pendulum is centered. Don't bother with half-beats of pressing more keys at once as that doesn't grant any extra points.

From main menu, click 3rd option to access config, then copy bottom-left settings for autoskip.
Click redhead icon under blonde girl.
Choose 2nd option to quit immediately. This unlocks SHINO SCENARIO.
Click 1st option in menu.
Complete all SCENARIOS (no choices).
Click 1st option in menu → SHORTS tab.
Complete SAKURAKO twice, picking each option once.
Complete all other SHORTS picking any options.
Click 1st option in menu → ANOTHER tab.
Choose AOSHIMA.
Reach first choice and save (open menu by pressing RMB twice, then click first option to access save menu).
Choose 1-1.
Reload save by clicking 2nd option in menu.
Choose 2-2.
Reload save by clicking 2nd option in menu.
Choose 3rd option, then quit after unlocking the achievement (RMB twice for menu, door icon to quit).
Click 1st option in menu → ANOTHER tab.
Choose GRAND.
Choose 2nd option.
