Extended Curations :: Achievement Scouts

When you play for the first time, you will be put through the tutorial. This can be skipped by going into the pause menu and pressing the skip button twice.

You do not need to register a GalconID in order to play, nor to retain your progress. Your stats will be saved but you will have a randomly generated username.

You can get the game for free on your phone to use as an alt account. Since only wins matter for ranking up (not xp), using multiple alt accounts is pointless.

Friending your alt account will make finding your own lobby easier, you can do this on the "Social" tab. Social → Friends.

Once you have them both past the tutorial, do the following on your main account:

Make sure you are on the "Games" tab.
Click on "Choose Sector" and then "Custom Game".
Once in the lobby, click on the "Admin" tab at the top and change the following settings:

Approval: ON (So random people can't play in your game.) Go to "Customize" and have the following selected: Choose a Sector: King / Hill Players: 2 Planets: 12 Homes: 1 Production: 100 Clock: 1 (This is how long it takes to capture a point.) Timer: 0

You must click "Save" or else no changes will be made. These settings will be saved for every time you create a custom game lobby.

Have your alt join the lobby. If someone else joins, you can click on the face icon next to their name to go their profile; from there you can ban them from your lobby.

Press the play button next to your alt's name to approve them.

Press the start button to start the game. Your alt must capture at least one planet per game or else you won't gain any stats. Once you've done that simply capture the center planet to win the game.

Important Things to Note:

Make sure you let your alt win once so they are the Ensign rank.
Achievement unlocks are usually delayed by varying amounts of time.

Step one: Win on each difficulty with each faction.

Game Setup:

Difficulty: Easy / Normal / Hard (need to win on each)

Victory Conditions:
- Total Conquest: Locked

Start.
Go directly to the enemy base while using 'Auto-Calc' to skip battles.
Capture to win.

Step two: Farm kills on Easy.

Game Setup:

Difficulty: Easy

Victory Conditions:
- Total Conquest: Locked
- Home Defense: Unchecked

1st to 4th battles: Skip with 'Auto-Calc'.

5th battle: Fight. Must be against enemy faction to destroy Battleship* (pirates don't have battleships).

6th battle: If "Size Doesn't Matter" didn't unlock in the above battle, fight another enemy owned zone and see if a Battleship spawns.
Otherwise fight against the enemy HQ to destroy Super Battleship.

7th battle: Anything to rack up remaining kills towards destroy 100 ships.

* - To spawn the Battleship, you need to own 5 zones before attacking an enemy owned zone. This works out to be the 5th battle only if the enemy hasn't taken any of your zones. Owning more zones will spawn the Super Battleship instead.
Upon additional testing, owning 6 zones (enemy had 2) may also spawn the battleship. I'm still not entirely sure what determines the spawn patterns.

Tips for Duo/Squad win:

Mark the drop spot.
In a battle, focus in unfallen enemies.
Always stay with your team.
It's not recommended to play in parties without a full team.

Tips for Solo win:

Avoid battles until is only necessary.
Ambush enemies while they are looting or healing.
Equip with full armor, full super tapes and full health juice.
Melee is most effective in early game, while an enemy is reloading or in a ambush.
Mount in a hamster ball, Giant Emu or hide with Ninja Booties Super Powerup if your objective is waiting late game.
An option is equip with grenades or Skunk Bomb for the late game and Super Gas Snorkel Super Powerup and wait for life circle win.
Equip Cupgrade or Impossible Tape Super Powerup.

Progression Achievements

Hamster wheel, melee and grenade kills are faster in Solo early game, skill based. As soon as a hamster wheel appears, jump out of the plane, seeking a more open spot, with few obstacles too.
Open mole crates is easier in Duo or Squad late game, boosteable.
Super Tape Can’t Fix That is the most long grind achievement in the game, skill based.
Super tapes used, drinked health juice and campfires used are only progression.
You need unlock the rewards of the match to add a count to Workhorse achievement.

Recommended method to remain viable in later levels:

About halfway through the game you will hit a high difficulty spike. The method I found to combat this is a setup that is-
A dagger that regens mana
A ring that puts a shield on your horde
A staff that summons, ideally scorpions

Then you run in with your horde, pop the shield and summon scorpions to distract the archers and back line and attack to regen mana quickly. Also as long as you don't die and respawn any roaming patrols will remain dead. You can use this to whittle down forces in some of the larger areas.

Other info not in the guide:

Adventurer- You should have 39 completed quests before talking to the Commander and entering the next era. That quest is the 40th.

Grim Reaper- Easily done by either keeping one of the earlier areas unconquered to kill peasants, or going to 2nd era and doing it on an early area then.

Re-animator- For me this didn't unlock in the guides method by doing it on graves. It only worked on reanimating enemy corpses. For that perhaps try and kill 2-3 groups of chickens close to each other.

Island Defense

Saves may not carry over properly between the current and old builds as the current version has many new features.

Things to do:

Complete all levels with 3-stars on normal difficulty.
- Completing a level on normal unlocks hard.
Complete all levels on hard. Hard only has 1 star for completion.
There are three heroes:
- Level up all three heroes to level 15.
  - Should be done early on in the hard playthrough.
- Sniper is the best to use as his ability has a really short cooldown.
Finishing levels rewards coins which are used to upgrade towers.
- Buying all the upgrades unlocks "Master of Towers".
- For the individual tower master achievements, they must be built in a level.
If you need gold for towers after finishing everything, farming level 20 is the most efficient.

Multiplayer achievements:

Win 33 games in 4 player mode vs a partner (25 by being much faster).
Play Angel (to unlock: Score 150 or chop 3000 using Santa) vs Treedevil (to unlock: Rise energy bar from min to max in multiplayer) in 2 player mode
Reset your rank in settings and win vs 10 different players

Single player achievements:

"Score Master": Score 180 exactly and then die with the next move.
"Mighty Mr Tree": Score 1000+ or 15k total chops (in the Steam leaderboard). Former is skill-based, latter can be idled in ~30 hours.
"Steamer": 4th will be Timb-nerd or Gaben.
- Timb-nerd can be idled before the first chop. Needs 11 hours. Check the Timb-nerd character in game to see your playtime.
- Gaben unlocks for scoring 2000.

Other single player achievements are self-explanatory.

It's recommended to first complete 20 missions of the arcade mode without collecting any customers (just let the time run out) to unlock the first 2 vehicles, then in freeroam mode do all the quests of the special customers.
The customer count seems to be glitched in a good way. So don't worry about it.

When playing this build *never* unequip the Casual Clothes. It gives 10x max HP and unequipping means you'll lose ~90% of your HP,

Specifically:

"Adventure begins" unlocks after the opening scene.
"Fish food" unlocks for picking up the Food fish.
"Chicken catcher!" unlocks during the chicken catching minigame.
"Love lost" unlocks in the ending of chapter 1.
"Wirrot joined the party" unlocks after entering the hole in the cave.
"Complete Sky" unlocks by finishing the Sky section by stepping on the top tile.
"Mini game fun!" unlocks by finishing the Sky section by stepping on the middle tile.
"Foreign invasion" is unlocked by talking to the person in the rightmost house in Port Canggu.
"A journeys end" unlocks in the ending.

Additional Note for Chapter 3:
Chapter 3 is virtually impossible to beat in the release version. The two Red Demon bosses have 4000HP each and attack for ~600HP unbuffed (up to three times per turn).
I grinded to level 17 and still couldn't win. Here is what I ended up doing:

Sell Rat's tail and Bat's meat until you have 30,000 money.
Switch to the current patch and copy your save over.
Buy the "Tyrfing Cleaver" from the shop for 30,000.
(There are no shops in the release version.)
Copy save and switch back to the release version.

The weapon is called Crimson Axe in the release version. At level 17 two turns of Double Attack + 5x Triple Attack is enough to kill the Red Demons, but you still need a bit of luck to be able to survive two turns of attacks.

Alternatively, you should be able to play the entire chapter on the current patch (there are no achievements) and switch back in chapter 4.
The release version is much easier for most the game, except this one boss.
