A lot of solutions are fixed, so take the casual playthrough to remember/experiment which ones and memorize them for the Einstein playthrough. If an exit is listed with the puzzle name, it is a fixed solution. The pictures are pretty helpful enough.

You should always have difficulty set to experienced, I saw no added difficulty and it helps prevent some bugs.
One note is sometimes the game moves in 0.5x speed. It seems to happen after you die, let the game over graphic fully pop up and only then press R to restart, sometimes you have to repeat this process a couple of times. This makes most of the game MUCH easier so I highly recommend having this on constantly.
The below sections are a recommended order of completing the game with some tips.
- Part 1 - Complete all levels on experienced mode
As simple as it sounds, complete all 90 levels on experienced mode.
Note: For some reason level 43 glitches when you try and use the portal if the game is not in high graphics and experienced difficulty, at least for me.
- Part 2 - Complete 100 community levels
Go to the workshop and clicking 'Subscribe to all' for this and then going through the user levels that have loaded and unsubscribing as you complete them/find them too hard to bother. There were ~250 levels when I tried so definitely enough to do this without doing too hard levels.
- Part 3 - Complete 5 speedruns
To unlock speedrun mode you must complete all levels on experienced mode. You do not need to get under any time for the speedrun to count, just complete all the levels in one sitting. This took me about 40 minutes on my first go but by the end I was close to 20 minutes per run.
- Part 4 - Map Creator Achievements
I recommend doing this AFTER part 2 as otherwise your own maps will appear in 'User levels' lengthening the process. Please note that if you create lots of small terrible levels you are likely to be banned from posting to the workshop but this won't affect the achievements. Just pressing 'publish' is enough to count.
Designer/Famous Designer- Please note that if you create lots of small terrible levels you are likely to be banned from posting to the workshop but this won't affect the achievements. Just pressing 'publish' is enough to count.
Architect - From what I can tell, you have to make an ACTUAL level and not just 2 enemies close to each other. Try and use all the elements and in the testing phase have the character use them all.
Big plans - Create a level at max dimensions (9999x9999)
- Part 5 - Miscellaneous Achievements
Full House/Triple Kill - Easily gained on Level 52
Projectile Rain/What's This?/Just a level - These can all be collected close to each other by using the secret level found on level 26 (the entrance is shown below)

Interested - View credits
Ragequit - Die and then Alt+F4
Highscore Hunting - Needs to be an active window idle, I only got this to work idling speedrun mode
The rest of the achievements are self explanatory and a good number will unlock during normal play.
1K Deathmatch grind strat
Ideally the one grinding the wins should host.
Pick Hoodlums backyard with 2 people and frag limit set to 1.
Both press 1 at game start to equip knife and run into the tunnel.
the one to die turns their back to the other and gets backstabbed.
Once the endgame leaderboard appears, the host should press ~ and then enter samRestartMap(). In subsequent matches you can press the up arrow to re-select this.
Repeat 999 times.
This will also get you swordsman, backstabber and some other achievements.

Storyline achievements:
Different endings:
- Simply choose a planet when you beat the game.
- Let the timer run out when picking a planet to destroy. It will now destroy both.
Other:
- This achievement is very easy to do. After you have done your first playthrough, your character still keeps the same upgrades. So you have to replay the game, just with all your upgrades this time.
- The strategy for this achievement is to use the character "Simolacrum". This character has the special of "Unlimited teleports". Hardcore mode means 1 life. It also means your fuel will deplete twice as fast. The actual difficulty of the game doesn't increase, so you're mostly racing against time on the fuel, but unlimited teleports helps combat this issue. The strat is to farm money, and take it slow, and make sure you teleport EVERY time your fuel is getting low to fill up. Spend time to make sure you upgrade your fuel tank especially, as well as your hull for extra safety. In hardcore, the quest items are not locked behind black boxes, be careful not to dig these items, as you might get stuck if not.
- This can be done on the first playthrough. After outpost Delta, there is a huge chain of coal. In order to get a 50 mineral chain, you are required to have max storage capacity upgraded.
- This requires a level 3+ smelter, and to finish the absolute last quest. (The quest where you have to collect unobtainium). In order to do this, you need to collect an electrium, then amazonium and last unobtainium to smelt it. (Don't mine any other ores between them)
Quick video guide:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6Izyg63Jv8
Roadmap:
1st playthrough:
- Reaching the outposts achievements
- When you have upgraded to max storage, get a 50 mineral chain under Outpost Delta
- Create an Aether stone. Level 3 smelter required. Electrium-> Amazonium -> Unobtainium to create an Aether Stone.
- Choose to help Abbadon and destroy earth, just cause he's a cooler character.
6/9 achievements
2nd playthrough:
- Use the same character from 1st playthrough, and be fast and quick through every part of the game to beat 1 hour. When you beat the game, side with Tiberius, and destroy Earth. This will unlock "Simolacrum", the character with unlimited teleports.
7/9
3rd playthrough:
- Remember to put it on Hardcore
- Use Simolacrum
- When the game is beaten, don't pick to destroy any planet, let the timer run out.
9/9 - 100% achievement completion completion
General tips:
- Recommended to dig a straight-down tunnel all the way to the right and all the way to the left from the top of the world all the way down to Outpost Delta. From Delta and down, it is recommended to have a path on the left or the right, to make it easier to go up and down. This will help you both navigate faster up and down on the map, and from outpost Delta and up, you can follow the path you made straight up. With the right rotor speed upgrade, you will outspeed the boss.
- For the boss battle, you should really just consider having enough C4. I like to stock up 99 just in case, even if it is not needed. You can regen your Hull and your Fuel at every Outpost if needed. Try not to get pinned down, and jump under the boss if it pins you into a side. Recommended to spam explode C4 on him. C4 is available to purchase at Outpost Beta. (Certain outposts don't sell certain bombs, you should check each shop on each Outpost to learn where to buy which)
- Throughout the game, make sure you upgrade your smelter fast. Combining different variations with explodium can make bombs. Some of the most important ones are:
Gold + explodium = C4
Ruby + explodium = Shaft Bomb (or I Bomb)
Emerald + explodium = T bomb
Electrium + explodium = Electron bomb
When creating player, choose the highest difficulty, because it can't be changed (missable).
All achievements must be completed in career mode and only in a save slot, don't work in quick play.
Focus on hiring ONLY team members that give positive income and discount in the event entries.
Will have to win all 30 events, but not the individual races, restart until the score of your opponents play in your favor.
Features 2 online achievements, host and win 3 events.
For the Universal Driver achievement (Perform all types of tricks in the Career mode) this is the list:
All other achievements are self-explanatory.
