Extended Curations :: Achievement Scouts

Play and average 115% Sync.Rate over all songs (can be done on EASY or HARD). This is calculated in the following way: (songs played * Sync.Rate obtained in each) >= (total songs * 115). That means you don't have to finish all songs with 115% Sync.Rate to get the achievement, just get over the total sum and it will unlock.
Ex ranks will come naturally while doing this step.

Step two:

Finish a song with 122% or higher Sync.Rate (all cyan EXACT notes with high precision). Candleman @easy @7.0 speed recommended (thanks mauro_darkwolf for this tip).

Step three:

Play one song 15 times in a row: must finish and hit replay for it to count. Quitting back to song selection menu resets the counter.

Grind:

Played Everything!: Play the songs you haven't played yet.
Get a total of 100 EX ranks: Keep replaying any easy song until hitting 100 EX ranks.
'Get 50000 EXACT note marks total' and 'Play a total of 200000 notes': Both achievements can be scripted. Choose 'Silver Town' stage @hard @9.0 speed and run this script. F1 to start, F2 to reload/stop.

Mod and Play

Relevant information:

Objects must be placed/removed slowly for them to count (wait at least 3 seconds between each action).
Multiplayer kills are only awarded for the host.

Workshop achievements:

Use alpha build (right click on game → properties → betas → 'alpha') and subscribe to the following skin to get started.
Launch the game with the mod from the previous step installed for 'Load the mod'.
For 'Upload the mod' go to MODS → UPLOAD and set the following parameters:
- Create New Mod
- Name: Anything
- Type: Any
- Content Directory: The route of the mod you just downloaded: Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1127460
- Image Directory: Any image but the route must be typed manually, example: 'C:/image.png'. Make sure the route it's not in the format '../../../../../..' or the upload will fail.
- After filling all fields, click on 'Upload Mod' and wait for the achievement to pop.
- Note: Don't forget to delete the upload after unlocking the achievement.

Bad North: Jotunn Edition

Achievement Overview:

Ready for Anything --> Requires a commander's level, skill and item to be fully upgraded.

Nightwatch, Cold Steel, Turn Back the Tide, Ready for Battle --> should unlock through natural progression.

Protector of the Realm and Split the Party --> require some effort but can easily be completed on easy difficulty.

Folk Hero:
Do several runs on normal to unlock several starting traits/items for the hard runs. A unit of elite archers with 'Heavy Weapons' will make shooting enemies off boats easier allowing many islands to be cheesed.

Bathed in Blood:
Make sure to keep a late-game save of a normal run as you can find islands of 100-200 vikings in late-game. Once those have been beaten, reset to last checkpoint and repeat until 15K to grind for that achievement.

Step 3:

Play the game focused on completing all main quests and don't forget to do the following tasks to unlock the missable achievements:
- Craft 5 items (prioritize weapon upgrades and health potions).
- Cut down 5 trees.
- Gather 10 resources.
All other achievements should come naturally while progressing through the story.
Boss fights can be kinda tricky at first, but they all follow a pattern and become a lot easier once you figure them out.
Save your game often by approaching a checkpoint totem (they also regenerate health) and save any food and health potions for the boss fights.

Step 4:

When you get the quest to travel with the airship (after visiting the king), you won't be able to progress anymore due to the "Maaki Desert" location not being properly coded into the depot build of the game. However, this can be easily fixed by following the next set of steps:

Right-click the game on your library.
Then, click on Properties → Local Files → Verify integrity of game files.
Launch the game after the download is complete and start a new game.
Now, close the game and copy the folder "Savegames"

From:
AppData\LocalLow\Magic Sandbox\Windscape

To:
AppData\LocalLow\Headup\Windscape
Launch the game, load your save, and play from where you left off.
At the Maaki Desert, go all the way right from where you landed.
You should see a path with columns at the distance; go through it to find the temple.
After entering the temple you should have all achievements unlocked.

All Day Dying: Redux Edition

Achievement Breakdown
There are 95 achievements:

87 achievements for scores on each level at each difficulty (difficulty stacks)
8 achievements for doing all the objectives, which can be done on the easiest difficulty. (including scores)

Introduction
All Day Dying is a score-attack FPS, with higher scores rewarded to more "stylish" kills, and there's a time limit as well. It is recommended to learn the mechanics first, and to play on an easier difficulty/training mode to learn level layouts and spawns. Getting Diamond score on Ultimate difficulty on some levels has a tight-window regarding time and kills, but generally, never losing a combo on a level while killing everyone should net you a diamond score. The game is skill-based, so a level of execution is needed. This will require good crosshair placement, movement, reactionary aim, recoil control, memorization of enemies AND priority to kill, and lastly, proper routing.

Here's a video of a compilation of diamond scores, for inspiration. I did not use most of these exactly, so they can be tweaked to your preference. Some maps are big, so you have to space your engagements accordingly, to travel across the map while keeping your combo. Most levels also have forks and preference on which weapon you want to use first. For swarm areas on maps like Anarchy, the machine gun room in Complex, Lift 1 and 2, etc., it's important to isolate engagements, especially with snipers on Ultimate difficulty.

General Tips

Spacing out kills while using Machine Gun's ability can allow you to use it all throughout levels. Later levels will require 4-5 headshots on enemies though.
Jetpack enemies can sometimes be ignored momentarily, although they're harder to kill to save a combo
Jumping is always an easy way to boost score; for incredibly tight score windows on levels like Sewage.
The rifle's ricochet can be used to save a combo if you're far from the next engagement. Not recommended.
Save rage for swarms. I actually didn't use it until chapter 3 but it's a surefire way to clear the room.
If you're stuck on an objective, check every corner of the map. Areas where it's not uniform with the rest of the map are usually a sign/hint. Some objectives require using abilities on areas of the map.

Walkthrough:

Spam any keys (mostly Q and U) until reaching this scene (move all the way to one side then to the other during the bass scene).
Spam sing buttons (W + I) over and over until getting past.
Now reach this scene for the endings:
- Spam Q or U for 'Turn'.
- Spam W or I when available for 'Burn'.
- Spam E or O when available for 'Learn'.
Repeat for the other endings.
