At the moment I don't had the time to play this game a lot, because I'm still busy with complete some other games upfront.

From my perspective so far everything was running quite smooth for me (my specs are at the end of this review) at least in tutorial. In normal missions from time to time I had some crashes (which I was able to avoid after changing graphics settings). For me it seems like the early adopters had some issues because of server connections. But what a suprise, this game immedately was 2nd place in most played games because 50.000 people tried to play it. The game dev's reacted as fast as possible and did already bring a patch which should solve major issues + had an open communication on their discord server + x (twitter) about it. I don't get why people complain about the anti cheat, I mean you can read it up front or refund if you don't like, why they have to review bomb because of anti cheat... I don't get it.
From my perspective the gaming community is not very nice to the dev's, don't be so though and give them a chance. If you would have any clue about software development and golives (especially when 50.000 people want play instant after release) maybe the most people would judge in a different way. Also some others complain about the controls are just made for controllers ans with mouse it doesn't feels natuarl, I doesn't agree. I played a lot of shooters in my life, Counterstrike, Battlefield, The finals... and for me it doesn't seems like anything about the controls is anoying... I'm still loving the way you can call stratagems, for me this is a outstanding feature of this game!

About the game, of course I completed Helldivers 100%, I expected to have a kind of a third person shooter just a bit converted from the original. Don't get me wrong I can recommend Helldivers to everybody I had a lot of fun and the fact you were able to have couch coop made it perfect for playing it together with my girlfriend and other friends.

This game doesn't has local coop but I don't mind, come on it's a third person shooter, I wouldn't play it on one screen even if it would be possible!
But boy oh boy, what I saw it was more than just changing the perspective of Helldivers 2. I was impressed by new beautiful graphics and also the new content, but more to come. For me it seems like the game sometimes crashed in moments of heavy workload for GPU. After playing Tutorial I tried some missions and had some crashes, but after adjusting graphic settings (disable anti aliasing, v-synch and just turn one graphic settings from utlra to high) no crash occured so far...
After some patches, the game is now stable and I don't have any crashes anymore...
I would love to play it with ultra settings, but it's also looks nice and fun is not restricted by playing on high, it would be good to have a Patch for this asap.

About the story, already during the first intro cut scene I had to smile several times, come on this is awesome. The first tutorial mission you have to earn you cape and prove you worth to be a helldiver - awesome!
You shouldn't expect a detailed story like you have it in some AAA story based games, but there are from time to time some cut scences and some extra missions you can do besides your main grind to level up and become a migthy helldiver. So no major story telling with any twists in story, but this is faire enough because this would be something the game doesn't want to be I guess.

About achievements, reading through it, it feels like they didn't do the same mistake and added any grindy achievements. I played 20 hours and have already the most, there is just one achievement missing which can be hard I guess... but let's see after I tried. So 100% is absolute doable even without any teammates.

Overall the first teaser gaming session I had already made me looking forward to start with this game and invest a lot of more time into it. I don't regred buying the super citizen edition because I already have the feeling developers will care about this game and there is a lot of potential in it!


After 20 hours of playing the game, I still love it and I'm looking forward to spend more hours. I would absolutely recommend to buy the game, if you have some friends to play with, even mor recommendation!
