I, a benevolent (and perhaps slightly sociopathic) monarch, nurtured my clan... briefly. Just enough to build a couple more things, before realising, efficiency is the key to victory!

So, I withdrew peasants from producing anything. Yes, quite literally anything and I straight up put everyone to trade labour.
More mouths to feed arrived? Same treatment.
Equality, my friends!
No one gets neither a free lunch nor a special treatment when I reign!

Starvation? Not a setback but a minor inconvenience.
You see, I had a vision: a glorious trade victory! A victory, I say, my friends!
The people? Expendable. Wood? A luxury. Food? For the weak!
My goal was clear: conquer the markets, not the dinner tables!

And thus, my glorious reign continued.
The kingdom withered, the people crumbled, but the trade routes flourished.
A true leader knows the sacrifice is but a price for progress.

And in the end we were victors!
Well… at least me and the left over couple peasants who were about to fall for the starvation.
But we nonetheless won, my friends. I always lead my clan to victory!
