300+ hours and still going -- a testament to how well this game is built.

Northgard has earned a permanent spot in my library. The single player content alone justifies the price many times over. Between the story campaign, clan-specific challenges, and conquest mode, there's a huge amount to sink into without ever touching multiplayer.

What keeps me coming back is how much thought has gone into each clan. They're not just reskins with a stat tweak. Every clan genuinely changes how you approach the game, what you prioritize, and how you interact with the map. That design philosophy compounds over time: the more clans they add, the more variety you have, and the more replayability you get.

When you do bring friends into it, co-op conquest is an absolute blast. Coordinating with a teammate while you each manage your own territory adds a whole new layer to the strategy without losing what makes the solo experience good.

One honest caveat: new clan releases occasionally knock the AI off-balance and you'll see it playing suboptimally for a patch cycle or two. But the devs consistently fix it, and it's a minor and temporary frustration compared to the overall package.

If you enjoy strategy games with meaningful choices and want something you can play at your own pace, Northgard delivers. The developers have kept supporting and expanding it in ways that add depth rather than bloat.

Plus it barely takes up space on your system.
