Welcome to the Kobayashi Island Collection!

In this collection, you'll find everything you need in order to open and run CityWokCityWall's Kobayashi Island!

How to Set Up:
  • Click "Subscribe to all", then head over to the Essential Mods & Assets Collection and click "Subscribe to all" there.
  • Download the the most recent version of the CityWokCityWall Local RICO Settings[drive.google.com] and move the file to the Cities Skylines folder inside your Steam Downloads folder. Default is usually set to:
Mac: /Users/**yourname**/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Cities_Skylines
PC: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Cities_Skylines
***NOTE: Be aware that replacing or deleting your existing RICO settings if you have used the mod before will cause you to lose saved settings! If you've used the RICO mod before, PLEASE make a copy if your own RICO local settings file elsewhere on your computer so you can revert back later
  • Open Cities Skylines and enable all mods in the Content Manager page.
  • In the Options part of the Main Menu, ensure that Prop Snapping allows props to be submerged. Also ensure that Prop and Tree Anarchy is always on.
  • Load the Kobayashi Island Save Game
***NOTE: You can hold down the Enter button to close all error message on load. As long as error messages do not continue to pop up while playing, errors can be ignored. If error messages do continue, ensure you are subscribed to all assets in this collection and the Essential Mods & Assets Collection
  • Open the Cubemap settings in the options menu, and set it to Approaching Storm
  • Open the Unlimited Eyecandy Mod (the sun + rain cloud button) and change the following settings:
Set global light intensity to 8 Set ambient light to 1.25
  • Open the Relight Mod by typing ALT + SHIFT + L and change the following settings:
Set brightness to 1 Set contrast to -0.9 Set temperature to -0.8 Set tint to -0.2
  • Open the Theme Mixer 2 Mod and load the Kobayashi Island Theme Preset
  • Open the Render It! Mod and change the following settings:
Anti-Aslaising Technique: FXAA
  • Open the Hide It! Mod in the options menu and change the following settings:
Hide Bus Stops: Enabled Hide Sightseeing Bus Stops: Enabled Hide Runway Lights: Enabled Hide Taxiway Lights: Enabled Hide Bouys: Enabled Hide Sprites Cliff Decorations: Enabled Hide Sprites Grass Decorations: Enabled Hide Sprites Fertile Decorations: Enabled Hide Ruining Props: Enabled Hide Grass Pollution Ground Color: Enabled Hide Polluted Area: Enabled Hide Pollution Fog: Enabled
