Description
DESCRIPTION

This mod contains animations and critical code that allow soldiers to equip two pistols at the same time. However, it does not add any abilities, and will not let you actually shoot two pistols. For that, you must use a Class Mod, such as my Akimbo Class.

COMPATIBILITY

Primary Secondaries makes it possible to equip attachments on the mainhand pistol, however you will need an additional mod in order to equip attachments on the offhand pistol. Pick one or both:
  1. robojumper's Squad Select

    Remember to uncheck[iridar.net] the "Upgrade Icons Only For Primaries" checkbox in the configuration. You can do that in .ini configuration or by using Mod Config Menu mod.

  2. Musashi's Mod Everything Reloaded

Limited compatibility with Musashi's RPG Overhaul. It will allow any soldier to wield two pistols, and load up relevant animations, but most of the perks will fire only from the mainhand pistol, making the offhand pistol a deadweight.

Only perks from the RPG Overhaul Specialization Pack - Akimbo are guaranteed to work properly.

In the future I'd like to improve compatibility with non-Akimbo perks, but this is what you get for now.

This mod cannot work without WOTC Community Highlander, therefore it cannot be ported to vanilla.

Should work mid-campaign just fine.

In theory, should work with any pistols added by mods. Works with pistols from Resistance Firearms and my ADVENT Mag Pistol.

Tracer's pistols from Overwatch Weapon Pack work, but don't produce firing sounds.

Thanx for getting back to me Iridar, it seems to have sorted itself out after a couple of reboots. Still get the occasional attack where they are holding the offhand pistol wonky but mostly working as advertised now.

Weapon choice shouldn't matter, as long as it's classified "pistol", it should work. Can you check if it works on your setup with normal pistols?

In fights the Akimbo animations dont work properly, have all required mods but when firing they only use one pistol and when standing idle in mission have the normal holding rifle anim. Is it maybe the gun mod im using? I use Clonewar era weapons mod as im playing a SW themed playthrough.

I just read there is no animations for autopistols, I just fecked myself.

I am stuck on a mission with a Chosen because the autopistol is not considered an akimbo weapon so I can't shoot.

How can I add it to be able to use with dual wield perk?

This mod just loads dual pistol animations. Primary Secondaries duplicates pistols.

This mod uses existing pistols and make a copy of it as a "main-hand" version. Even the Chosen pistol was duplicated but not the addons. Now, how do I add addons on this pistol so I can use dual Chosen Pistol for the Akimbo Class?
