[WotC] Mod Config Menu

Description
This mod (MCM) is a shared settings menu. Some mods require this mod in order for you to use the in-game configuration menus.

For full details on using this mod, troubleshooting, or even building your own mods to use this menu, visit: https://github.com/andrewgu/ModConfigMenu

This version has been updated for War of the Chosen. For a version compatible with the base game, look for "Mod Config Menu Legacy" here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1122831824

Latest Update:

- Bug fix for an issue from the previous update that caused some mods to fail to save settings.

Previous Update:

- Performance improvements to make the options menu load faster and close faster, especially if you have a lot of mods.

=================================================

Compatiblity:

- Works with the Tactical Legacy Pack update.
- Compatible with WotC.

Go here for the legacy version, which supports the original base game: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1122831824

If you are experiencing compatibility issues, as always, feel free to notify me in the comments.

NOTICE FOR PEOPLE REPORTING THAT THIS MOD IS CAUSING IN-GAME PROBLEMS:

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to report issues with MCM. It obviously sucks if the options menu, of all things, is what's breaking your game, and I'd like to get these issues addressed ASAP. However, it's next to impossible for me to test every version of every mod that also uses MCM, so I need your help as well to troubleshoot issues.

If you are seeing graphical glitches or problems transitioning between Avenger/Missions, please check two very specific details for me and let me know the result in your comment:

1. If you turn off all mods except MCM, does the problem still happen?
2. Does the problem happen only after you've visited the Options screen, only after you've visited the Mod Options screen, or regardless of whether you've visited either screen?

Because of how extensively MCM interacts with other mods and how certain UI components interact, these two details will help me a lot with pinpointing the problem.

Hey RoseBomb, please try the troubleshooting steps in Dragon32's comment a couple comments down. That usually fixes the problem.

So, I'm not exactly sure what's happening, but the actual Mod Config Menu for In-Game is not appearing whatsoever.

I am using the AML and, yes, I have the mod enabled.

Hey Sargentmarine, please try the steps in the Mod Troubleshooting advice that Dragon32 shared, especially including deleting configs and verifying game files. If that doesn't fix it, please describe where the crash happens.

@Sergentmarine
I was using it fine earlier today.
Some great Mod Troubleshooting advice
That recommends the excellent Alternate Mod Launcher [github.com] Everyone who uses mods should be using it
As well as AML's own wiki and FAQs, this guide gives some more detailed advice on using the Alternate Mod Launcher: Troubleshooting: Mods not working properly / at all
If you're using the Community Highlander then read its specific troubleshooting advice [github.com]

@Planewalker
Whoever said that is wrong. Use "Remove Missing Mods".

I read somewhere that mcm is able to unbind uninstalled mods from a savegame, how would one go about this?

Thank you for making this in any case.

cheers

@Nihil
Config changes are stored in .ini files in the My Games config folder, some AV products have overzealous ransomware protection that could stop those changes being written.

Hello

I have a problem when I set up my setup configuration. Some mods return to default settings after restarting the game. What is the problem in this case.
