Ellie: Fight for what? We're gonna turn into one of those things.

Riley: There's a million ways we should’ve died before today. And a million ways we can die before tomorrow. But we fight... for every second we get to spend with each other. Whether it’s two minutes. Or two days. We don't give that up.

Riley: I don't want to give that up. My vote. Let’s just wait it out. You know, we can...be all poetic and just lose our minds together.

Ellie: What’s option three.

如何做一个“活”的开放世界,我想老滚或辐射系列早已给出了答案,那便是丰富的反馈。我直接贴一段辐射之父Tim Cain于Reboot Develop 2017上讲话的一段内容。

“我觉得RPG应该对玩家一切的行为都要有‘夸张’的响应和反馈。我的意思不仅仅是NPC对玩家有很多行为都要有响应,还有一层意思是游戏应该不断跟踪记录玩家的一些行为,并且据此来改变这个世界。“当每个玩家在《奥秘》中走到NPC面前的时候,NPC做的第一件事时查看玩家是不是有随从。所以如果你是个死灵法师,你带着一群僵尸。NPC法师可能就会说:‘嘿,别让他们把地板弄脏了。’而一个普通的店主就会说:‘我的天啊,有一群死人在跟着你!’,当NPC对你们的随从有反应的时候,就会很有趣。如果你带着一个火人进去的话他们会说:‘别把我店给烧了!’。
“紧接着他们会检查你们身上是否有一些咒语,比如说隐身术和变形术。一些普通店主在你隐身和他交谈的时候,他会转身周围看然后说:‘刚刚是谁说话?’,而没办法和你交谈,你必须关闭隐身才能对话。如果是一个法师的话,他甚至不会转身,甚至不会看向你,他会直接说:‘请解除你的隐身术,否则我不会和你对话的。’。他们同样会对变形术做出反应。比如你变成了一只羊进入店内,一般的店主会喊:‘出去出去别进来’,而法师则会说:‘请解除你的变形术,否则我不会和你说话的。’“除此以外一些装甲我们也会标记出他们的特殊效果,比如很大的维京人头盔就会很吓人,NPC就会很害怕并且说:‘你谁啊这么恐怖!’。我们还尤其重视的就是让NPC检查玩家是否全裸,因为很显然很多玩家喜欢跑到城里然后把自己衣服全脱光然后看大家有没有注意到。这个时候店主就会说:‘抱歉,你不穿好衣服就不和你做买卖了。’他们还会检查你的样貌值,如果你的样子长得好看的话,他们的态度和语气都会好很多。对没错我们就这么肤浅。如果你长得很丑,NPC就会特别刻薄,虽然这样很坏,但是在游戏中就很有趣了。
“如果即使这样了NPC还没什么话可以说的话,那么NPC会对比他和玩家的种族,比如说精灵族的店主就会不太愿意和兽人玩家做生意了。另外还会注意双方的社会阶层,贵族的人和普通店主对你说的话的语气和态度都会有很大差异。
“如果还真的没话说了,他们至少会注意现在的游戏内的时间,跟你说早上好或者晚上好。这虽然真的是没话说的情景才会遇到的,但是他会让玩家觉得NPC也是在注意整个世界的状态,一切都是活的。
“所有这些东西是很潜意识的,我很少遇到有人跑过来跟我说《奥秘》里的NPC真的知道游戏里是白天还是黑夜,但是确实很多人会对我们反馈说《奥秘》让他们觉得这个世界很生动,很有活人的气息。
“NPC还会记录是否在过去见过你,所以他们是会说:‘很高兴再见到你!’,而不是每次见面都像第一次见一样‘欢迎光临!想买点什么吗?’。有时候店主还会据此,还有他对你的喜爱程度给你一些折扣;如果店主讨厌你的话,他会突然把所有东西的价格都抬高。我不知道有多少人会注意到这些东西,但我个人觉得真的好有趣,毕竟他们的反应是根据玩家方方面面的属性、状态和行为来产生的。“

唔,我没有写过白1TV版的鉴赏文章,对游戏本身的评测写得比较简略,可能重玩完毕有机会会详细展开写一下。白2倒是有,但是是比较久之前写的粗浅文章了,也没有对外公开过。
