Description
MultiNomaly
A fresh new multiplayer modpack for RimWorld 1.5 Anomaly! The strategy is to begin with a minimal set of mods and slowly expand known good multiplayer compatible mods as we continue testing. Hopefully this will minimize desyncs (as previous attempts to whittle down 100+ mods was often difficult to pinpoint the cause of errors).

Status
* Stable since v0.5 release! ~24 hours into current save game with 3x players starting year 3 in-game. No unplanned desyncs in our last ~12 hours since v0.5! Amazing!

Latest stable release v0.6 adds just two mods: RimLog and Interaction Bubbles. Another successful ~6 hour play sesh with 3x players and no unplanned desyncs! Wahooo! It's working!

Known Issues
Currently Zetrith's Multiplayer mod does not fully support:
  • Rituals - Can't assign pawns to Ideology rituals, but kind of work anyway. Can't start the Royalty Bestowing ceremony (Work-around for now is use the party spot near an Ancient Danger to get the Imperial guy knocked out and steal the 2x neuroformers they drop... lol...)
  • Caravans - Server host will likely have to create/send the caravan, other players will desync then can rejoin and keep going okay.
  • Anomaly - (Sok' has some PRs on github, but will likely take more time to land in a release...)

I've seen possible desyncs with host/local trace logs suggesting:
  • Adjusting gizmos for vanilla cooler does not seem synced. The work-around is to pause the game, have all players set the exact same target temperature (e.g. -4 deg C for a cooler or whatever).
  • Possible desync when attempting to create a *very* large zone in a single selection. The work-around is to modify zones with smaller selections at a time until it is exactly how you want it.

*NOTE*: I have *not* tested the experimental async time nor multifaction modes.

I know Power Tab 2 is technically 1.4, but it works fine despite throwing occasional debug log errors when closing the power tab menu (does not cause desync so its fine). I updated the About.xml so the error goes away for my players.

The very cool mod "Foot Traffic Heatmap" works great, though if a pawn suddenly changes jobs mid-path e.g. due to a mood or rebellion starting it throws a few red debug log errors. However no desyncs so no problem.
