Indie X Online 2022

Made by indies for indies, Indie X is a games event normally housed in videogame trade fairs which aims to promote the best games that Portugal’s rising game dev industry has to offer, as well as a selection of international indies who tag along for an awesome showcase with tons of networking and experience sharing!

Each summer, we open game applications and carefully select around 50 indie games to showcase in an event around November. Normally, we offer selected finalists a free booth to show their games and qualify for our “Best Of” award prizes but, due to the still present COVID-19 pandemic, we are showcasing our games with livestreams and interviews with the creators in a full digital online event on Steam along with a mega sale of all Indie X Finalists from this year and past editions aswell!

This year’s Indie X edition will be hosted again on Steam! Indie X is renovating its partnership with Valve in order to launch a full digital event that’s both a streaming showcase and an indie game sale with this year’s 50 Finalists and all the past edition Finalist games who are on Steam! Check back November 10 – 13 on Steam.

Additionally, we will be recording our finalists/developer livestreams on Rubber Chicken[twitch.tv] and RTP Arena[twitch.tv] Twitch channels from the 3rd of November up until the 9th of November. All these streams will be recorded and featured later as a compilation of all the showcases/gameplay streams of 2022.

We will be holding our yearly Indie X Closing Cerimony November 9th at 21:00 (GMT) live on Rubber Chicken[twitch.tv] and RTP Arena[twitch.tv] Twitch channels. This year's winners will not only gain accolades and monetary prizes but they'll get a special featured spot on our Steam Sale that goes live at midnight (as soon as November 10th starts). More info on this later!
