If you like searching lockers, flower pots and trash cans good news, that'll be what you're going to be doing the most in Encased.

Lets keep this super short:

* The game is utterly devoid of interesting content after Act 1.
* Far too many fetch quests.
* Quests that aren't fetch quests are generic and forgettable.
* Great ideas for characters and areas.
* No character or area pays off in any meaningful or memorable way.
* The amount of searchable items such as lockers, flower pots and trash cans is ridiculous.
* Pathfinding is annoying. Companions and the player character will constantly get body blocked by NPCs and they'll always find a way to step into traps etc without path micromanagement.
* The volume of references are many and unavoidably noticeable.


This is obviously not a AAA title. It's more of a C title i.e. worth a fiver and feels like it would be better suited to any other media such as a book.
