This game has froze on boss fights once they are finished, twice now for me. Where the ui doesnt allow me to press anything. Fun game if it werent for that detail. Which forces me to restart the game and repeat the fight.

It just... doesn't work. Every time I beat the second boss the game freezes up, periodically I just spontaneously unable to move in a random direction, progress is impossible. Avoid.

This game plays like an early access with a lot of potential. If you play a lot of early access games, it is worth checking out. I enjoyed it a lot! That said, it is a mess, and I wouldn't even recommend trying it if you got it for free to most people. I'm gonna wait until the end to get into the bugs because if there's pretty much anything that doesn't effect your computer outside the game that I could put there that would make you not buy the game, you don't need to bother with this review. It quickly gets boring and repetitive, with very little change between the fights, even for this style of game. There are a couple enemies that sort of stand out from the others, but mostly it's just the same enemy
wearing different hats over and over. The map allows you to wander around and do a bunch of fights before making your way to the next zone, but there's no pressure on you to proceed or even indication of what it's balanced for, which makes finding a reasonable difficulty the hardest part of the game as you have to figure out exactly how much you're supposed to ♥♥♥♥ around getting resources and refining your deck before moving on without any guidance from the game, and even just bouncing aimlessly at the shiniest thing you see quickly gets anyone who even sort of knows what they're doing strong enough to make fights trivial. The game has an interesting mechanic where rather than being put in a discard pile, used and discarded cards are shuffled back into your deck, which would be really cool, except that drawing cards is a pain and you can only have up to 5 cards in your hand at a time, and the deck fully reshuffles every turn, and there's nothing you can do to manipulate that, so in effect, it just means you're much, much, much more likely to just get a completely unusable hand, *and* there's nothing stopping that from happening again next turn. Which, even then, i'd call a player-side issue for the most part if you were given the level of control over what you have in your deck in the first place most of the genre gives you, but this gives you very little. You only have 2 choices of card after battles, there are almost never opportunities to remove cards, and *most* of the cards in the game depend on having specific other cards in your hand to function, which is very difficult with a max of 5 cards in your hand at a time and very few options to draw and discard, as well as how hard it is to get the card you need. For example, a massive chunk of the cards I've seen have a bonus effect if you have the card AM generator in you hand or require you to have it in your hand, and I've still never seen that card. The game is also terrible at explaining what's going on to the player. You have to fight to see your status effects and changes to the state of the battle. I could go on for quite a while, but most of the rest of the issues amount to the devs not thinking before throwing numbers at the game or weird interactions between other flaws in the game. The biggest issue is that it's just not fun. Overall, it's boring and frustrating, and feels like nobody involved in making it has ever played a roguelike deckbuilder before.

THE BUGS!! The game freezes and crashes often, and has difficulty launching. The map often doesn't actually display icons it's supposed to, making it impossible to see what options you have. The map often layers incorrectly, putting the buttons to move under the icons on the map making it impossible to click them, so you have to use the numpad to move, which the game never explains is a possibility and leaves people without numpads in a bad spot. I've encountered several instances of enemies not dying when they hit 0, locking you in the fight until you die or give up. The game getting stuck on the after-fight rewards screen has marked the end of almost every play session I've put into this game
