This is the current modlist for the Conan exiles RP server Lands of Tyranny. (Date 31.08.2022)

Server information, is taken from the Discord to the Lands of Tyranny, all rights are to the creator and staff steam of the server that made the lore and such.

We are a hardcore and RP-intense server set in a dark fantasy world.

Our core values:

Our Goals
- Provide an interesting, dynamic and challenging environment.
Plenty of antagonists fueled by specific purposes and working towards specific goals. Characters, clans, factions and races will have objectives to achieve and things to fight for, protect, or hide from.
- A dark, harsh, and unforgiving setting.
We aim to give more interesting alternatives also to 'world conquest' objectives, the world has been conquered already, after all. We also focus on providing a system that offers several options for antagonists to 'properly defeat' an opponent without death as the only available option.
- Character skills are what matters, not player skill: this is why we will always be a 'Dice-PvP comes first' environment.
- Plausibility and the setting come before 'balance': monstrous and other non-human races will look and act very differently, and have indeed inhuman abilities.
- We are a whitelisted server, to make sure player characters will follow the lore, even if granting large creative freedom. Boundaries are crucial for all kinds of creativity. The syllabic structure and limitations of poetry are what make a poem powerful. All of the lore that is necessary to know is present on our Discord, no other knowledge is required.
- Characters are neither heroes nor are they invincible, they are limited beings with aims and struggles. Power can be achieved, but the path is not without sacrifices...

Settings
Our setting and lore are homebrewed, as explained in detail in this discord: inspired by Tyranny, The Witcher, and other sources.

In this setting, the Empire and its Overlord have control over the known world.
Only a few of the most remote and unimportant areas plus the Underdark still enjoy some form of independence, as the Emperor recognizes the importance of keeping its armies busy, and the utility of having external enemies to use as scapegoats. Elves and Dwarves are marginalized, victimized subjects, while every other non-human race is fighting for its very survival.

The world is hostile and dangerous, everyone's life is at the whim of one of the Emperor's loyal, merciless representatives, which show their good face to the upstanding citizens of the empire through its young religion, but surround themselves with blood and cruelty.

Monsters and magic are rare and deadly, able to destroy entire cohorts of soldiers, or wreck havoc to entire regions, some of which still bear the scars of past events…
