This is an excellent mod featuring the Tourism building. The original modder made huge efforts in coding both the Tourism mod and related assets. I found, however, the mod has not been supported since June 2015.
Tourism is an essential part of the simulation. Predictablly, the game didn't involve enough details on that part, both in the quantity and the quality.
Besides, it brings more meaning to the Mass Transport DLC and Rush Hour concept. More tourists and larger building should be attracted to the city. More than red-light zones and commerical zones, we also need Expo centres, Casio HQs, Olympic Stadiums, museums and even golf centres. We can hold concerts, F1 campaigns, international conferences and even musical festivals.

MODS THAT NEED UPDATING (either not working or only partially working)
District Service Limit
Dynamic Resolution (works for some, others get blank city)
First Person Auto Walking Camera (Multiple Issues)
IOperateIt
Metro Overhaul Mod
Pedestrian Crossings (prevents the toggling of traffic lights)
Ploppable RICO (some users reporting issues w/ placing/selecting items for RICO)
Service Vehicle Selector 2.2.1 (Multiple graphics issues)
As you can see MOM needs updating! How plain is that!
And as you surley noticed asked SirDennisKovchan specifically for the area of incompatibility of MOM, or, in other words, what exactly doesn't work with MOM. As you further noticed, there are no detailed infos whats bugged (cf. infos on Dynamic Resolution oder Pedestrian Crossings)...
Dynamic Resolution was updated a pretty long time ago.
Pedestrian Crossings is in this section, but in the "confirmed working" too.
Please consolidate!
Not sure what was't clear - my question was specifically on whether the problem is with the patch (free update) or the DLC (purchased for £15 or so). Both are called Mass Transit, but essentially DLC provides more functionality, thus instaling the patch only might mitigate the issue.
Additionally, after testing myself I confirm that MOM WORKS with the patch, hence the problem is with the new DLC itself.
My apologies.... Updated.
I have been crazy busy, and haven't been around or haven't had time to update. I am going to go through everything either tonight or tomorrow, and update accordingly.... thanks.
Metro Overhaul has had multiple issues being reported by users. No confirmation on wether the issue is with the patch or dlc, but it's more than likely the patch that is the issue. There has also been no reponse from the mod's author, so not sure if it is going to get fixed.
Refer to the mod's home page for more information, and it's current issues.
