My personal "apocalyptic" mod collection, based on the TLOU Games.



These are my recommended sandbox settings for this mod collection. I'm just giving you a "preset" you can change to your own liking!. I've divided these in 3 difficulties:
  • Normal: For new players. Multi-hit enabled, normal zombie count, easier way to get Brave and Desensitized. Scent of Blood nerfed too. Rosewood would be a good place to start.
  • Hard: For casual players. Multi-hit enabled, higher zombie count, larger hordes. Similar to vanilla "apocalypse" mode.
  • Survivor: This is the original preset. Multi-hit disabled, even higher zombie count, even larger hordes, less vehicles. First weeks could be very hard, impossible for the casual player. Experienced players are going to enjoy this one, you're going to feel like when you started to play the game.
Here are the sandbox options:





Automatic Option:
If you want everything to work well together, use ModManager. Further down this description, the saved_modlists.txt is there to be copied and pasted so you don't have to do it manually!.
Manual Option:
In case you are having problems with ModManager, or just want to do everything manually, these are the mods you have to enable:



As I said, if you want everything to work well together, you need to use ModManager. You also need to edit your saved_modlists.txt to enable the modules that this collections uses:
  • saved_modlists.txt: Check the topic in Discussions/saved_modlists.txt and copy it!
  • Instructions:
    • Launch Project Zomboid, go to MODS, and make sure you enabled ModManager (if you didn't, enable it, press "back", and wait till the game reloads);
    • Exit Project Zomboid;
    • Navigate to C:\Users\%Username%\Zomboid\Lua (where %Username% is your username);
    • Find saved_modlists.txt, open it, and paste the contents found in Discussions/saved_modlists.txt;
    • Launch the game, go to MODS again, and you'll find a label named "Saved Presets". Click on it, select the modlist and click accept;
    • You can make changes to mods that have optional modules (like level-up sounds and such, make sure you pick only one!).

I can't add TCCacheMP to the collection, but it's needed for True Music to work!
