Now, when guns blazing players will kill at least 10 zombies next to each other. That 10 can grow to hundreds and possibly thousands in the next hours. Which is why I asked if anyone has ever ventured to West Point and make it out alive. I just don't believe it. I also just can't believe a city can be that avoidable.
The mod is either tuned down or has hordes disabled (leaving only the feeding part). I want to stay faithful to creator settings (which is default), but I am really tempted to rid the whole mod. Because what's even worse, canonically the fungus zombies don't eat each other and only eat healthy host/survivors (Reddit source) making this mod unfit.
The mod is highly criticized. Really bad. Its premise is that dead zombies 'attracts' the surrounding to them by 'imaginary noises'. It's not that bad of an idea, but the way the mod is implemented is awfully unbalanced. By default (which is also what this collection does), if a player is killing at least 3 zombies next to each other, the mod automatically starts a horde event in the next hour, attracting any zombies 60 or more tiles around the corpses (20*3 or more zombies) - A gunshot level of horde for a mere spear swings.
- Avoid guns (early game at least, or pick a shotgun and blast everyone, but be ready);
- Don't start in West Point (it's too hard, believe me);
- Sneaking is the way to go until you get a good melee weapon, and a couple of levels of the weapon type.
About the error when you launch the game, don't really know what may be causing it. When I launch the game with the collection loaded it doesn't pop up anything :/
To spawn with a mask, create a custom sandbox world, check if you ticked "All Clothing Unlocked" under the Character tab, and when creating your character, check the "mask" or "mask eyes" label to find masks!
Also, feel free to suggest new additions!
It's been a couple of weeks, that means new mods! So this week I'm gonna be checking if everything works fine, and then I'll see if I can add new mods to the list. Expect some news this weekend, right now I'm busy with RL things.
Thank you all for your patience :)
As I said a couple of hours ago, I'm taking a short vacation so I won't be able to fix anything for a couple of days. If a big update to a mod comes and everything breaks, you'll have to wait till I come back (or figure it out yourselves).
I removed More Vehicles Options for now, surely it's incompatible with some other mod and it's causing vehicles to spawn like that.
Thank you all for your support! See you!
@King Eclipse Inky, si, recien me fije y no hay naaada nuevo la verdad, el mapa en dark mode esta bueno capaz pruebe a ver si funca
@vanguard, I have no clue how MP works, I've hosted vanilla dedicated servers only a couiple of times so I can't really help you with this, maybe check a guide on the Guides section of the game!
@TiwoX, King Eclipse Inky, I'll look into it but I've got an idea of what mod could be causing that
