Pitstop

Description
For B42, we plan to update the map as soon as the new mod tools are available. This process will take some time and we plan to do it properly, with love.

Planned Changes:

- Rebuilt from the ground up
- Made time period appropriate
- Add basements, animals
- Utilize new vanilla tiles
- Update the buildings, move them around slightly and make the map flow better
- Adjust zombie spawns
- General bug fixing and tinkering
- Removal of meme sillyness

Pitstop is a map mod located between Rosewood and Muldraugh.
To server owners, feel free to add our mods to your modpacks. We grant permission to all.

This map strongly requires the additional tile packs. If you have any tile issues please make sure you have 2x textures enabled and you also have all the tiles turned on in your modlist!

This map also contains InverseFlux's cell dedicated to a space museum and a lab. Lots of zombies, lots of custom gear.

DO NOT use both at once.

This map is truly beautiful. I really enjoyed exploring the map and finding new furniture and items. I can't imagine how many hours you must have committed to make this map. Shout out from Korean fan o7

@A Dogwork Orange There is a shop that will spawn authentic z items, you can use the map without it and the shop will just spawn regular items :cherrypie:

Why is authentic z required?

Hello, i need a little help.
I added Blackwood map following the instructions, and its working great.
For this map i guess i need to delete all chunkdata files with the cell coordinates. But how do i know which .bin files i need to delete? Those with format map_XXX_YYYY.bin, for which i had to delete 900 of them for Blackwood.
Thank you for the help.

I would like to share that I’ve been picked up by The Indie Stone to work on the vanilla game. Meanwhile, PlentyT has been dedicated to his own developments for some time prior. With both of us now focused on new and exciting stuff, future updates to our mods are uncertain.

That said, we are giving full permission to anyone who wishes to remake or continue our maps under the same name, you have our blessing to do that. We may return to update these mods one day, but for now, our priorities have shifted toward new things.

Thank you all so much for playing and supporting our work, it truly means the world to us.

@tobyfox2002 If someone wants to take the map, update it to Build 42, or fix some issues and re-upload it, we’re totally cool with that. The only catch is we’ve lost the original files, so we can’t hand those over. Someone would have to do some big-brain work to rip the map.

That goes for any of our maps, really. We’ve always been fine with people doing whatever they want with our stuff as long as it’s not just a straight re-upload with no changes. If you want to tweak, improve, or build on it, go for it! :cherrypie:
