Compatible Mods
Become Brave

Exhausted from your character always panicking when they see a zombie even though they slaughtered countless zombies? Then this mod is for you.

What It Does
  1. After you kill 500 (Modifiable through Sandbox Options) zombies through melee or gun combat (no fire burns), you get the chance to become desensitized. This chance increases as you get more zombie kills.
  2. If you reach 2000 (Modifiable through Sandbox Options) zombie kills, you automatically become desensitized.
  3. Some traits and professions also change the chance that you'll become desensitized.
  4. When you become desensitized, mutually exclusive traits will be removed (Cowardly, Agoraphobic, Claustrophobic, Hemophobic).
  5. You have a chance to gain this trait at midnight (00:00).

Considered Traits that change the chance of gaining the trait
Postive: Brave, Hunter
Negative: Cowardly, Agoraphobic, Claustrophobic, Hemophobic, Pacifist

Considered Occupations that change the chance of gaining the trait
Police Officer, Fireman, Park Ranger, Security Guard, Doctor, Nurse

Anyone know if it still removes negative traits after they changed it so desensitized no longer fully removes panic?
Carlos Jan 26 @ 5:45pm
Just a rant. I think 1000-5000 zombies will desensitized most people. Still panic would happened when surrounded, even vets might get a little panicked when they're losing a battle.

War Fatigue (zomboid compliance even) is also a thing, it was discovered during WW2 squads that have survived several theaters of war had their battle effectiveness reduced and not increased the more battles fought after a certain amount of time. Compliance is even a thing in zomboid where players where a random zombie will end 6+ month run during gardening or looting without checking the room.

God the nerf to Desensitized absolutely sucks. Have fun waking up 5 days a week at 3am.

does this work with B41

This mod doesn't even reference zombie entities. Your other mods are causing the issue.

Oh, it's also messing with all the zombie health. I noticed that a lot of the time when I was one-shotting zombies, they wouldn't even have 10 health. Most, but not all. Again, after removing this mod, health is back to normal.

In build 42.
