Can Repair or reinforce the Doors

With this mod, you can repair and reinforce doors with new world-distributed items or craftable items.

The effectiveness of door repair is tied to your carpentry skills.

Carpentry and Metalworking skills will be required to craft some items.

If you reinforce a door, its health will be improved according to the sanbox options that you have configured.

It works on classic doors, double doors and garage doors, on all doors really, whether it's a mod or vanilla, as long as it's a model recognized as a door, it will be taken into account in the calcule, my code is global, it will be compatible.

When a door takes up several squares, a garage door for example, it will contain several repairs, a garage door actually has 3 boxes. look at the pictures and the video.

For example, the indication "good condition" does not mean that the door is at 100% health, it is the carpentry skill that will make you get closer to 100% health or not, "good condition " is just approximate. (If the door's condition is above 400/500, it will be considered "good condition")

In MP only, door health doesn't seem to be synced regarding zombie damage, unlike in single player, in MP only players have the sync of repairing or strengthening a door. If I find a way to fix it, I will...

  • repair kit for doors (Craftable)
  • reinforce kit for doors (Craftable)
  • epoxy glue for repair doors (Distribued in the world)

Work in SP and MP-COOP (certainly)/ Existing Save / Safety to remove / no rewrite vanilla code

So for whatever reason, here recently, when we reinforce the doors on our MP B41 server, it isn't doing anything. It pops up reinforced above our heads, but when you check the door it just says door is in good condition afterwards, not showing a health pool under the door either in purple text. Not sure if maybe Check Status mod is conflicting with it or not.
But yeah, figured I'd just pop a comment on here, not sure if the mods not functioning fully for anyone else or not.
Thanks for all the hard work btw, people just need to learn to be patience. <3

It says I have everything needed to repair the door but wont let me repair the door? Trying to use a kit on a double door. Epoxy itself wont work either

it would be nice, even to have a visual of the armored door, but, that would mean that we would have to redo all the doors to have a cracked skin and a reinforced skin, and hard coded so that it changes when the zombie strikes the door, no event exists when the zombies that damage the doors.

And uhh I do have a suggestion if you want to hear it.. Okay so like after you repair a door there's no visual indication of it being fixed, so maybe that's something you could add?

Cracks in the door and maybe even a chance for the repaired door to be rushed/done poorly so the white/yellow epoxy resin leaked out a bit. If that makes sense.

Just thought I'd throw that out there. If you don't want to or can't it's cool
