This marks my final journey to the modern persona games for now at least persona 6 is still rumored to exist, anyways yeah this is deff one of my favorites franchise of all time, and 4 just proves that even stronger. 4's gameplay isn't as expansive as 5 but what we still got is still good, like fishing or catching bugs those are fun activities, plus that's not all you can plant great vegetables and it somehow became a staple to always have gardening now in persona, even reload has it now lol, it also introduces social link abilities albeit only for party members and the fox, but they are still nifty and also be broken at the same time Rise is best girl for this reason, plus you can ride your motorcycle and go to a lot of places and actually visit them in your free time and not just look at them, like okina where you can drink Chagall tho it doesn't give you charm this time or watch the movies to give your party members stats and a new move tho if you really want a new move you can always visit them near the gas station and do fun stuff with them although not interactive it's still a fun activity plus more character interaction. There's also 3 new social stat that didn't get implemented to 5 which is expression, understanding, diligence, tho you can interpret understanding for kindness and expression charm but diligence is nowhere to be found to I guess that could be substitute for proficiency, anyways they're quite interesting plus important since a lot of dialogue mostly social links have social stats requirements so there is a need for them, well and also to even unlock some of them too or progress them like dojima and nanako but that's besides the point, and that also makes the game repayable and not just the social stats dialogue but the club you choose also decide which character you are going to hang out with, like with the soccer team tho it won't be any different since they are mostly the same except the musical and drama club where they are completely different and the 2 characters don't even interact with each other unlike the sports clubs so there is some replay value there. Dungeonwise it's quite fun, it's deff my least favourite dungeon in the persona series but it still has a lot going for it, like the design, and the character voices you hear from em, really love the perpetrator dungeon and heaven dungeon especially don't wanna say cause spoilers just in case the heaven dungeon especially has a banger ost, tho the weakest aspect is deff the bosses they don't feel that fun to fight against tho they are mostly easily defeated anyways even if their HP is the size of a giraffe's neck like a certain bear boss. OST is also my least favorite but again all of them are amazing and this one is still amazing as well, persona and smt in general have banger music that's just soo pleasing to the ear even nocturne demonic ost is still a banger. Social link wise goes it's really good wouldn't say it's my least favorite that would go to 5 to be honest, but it is a strong contender for my favorite, since a lot it is just soo good especially the party members one shout-out to kanji and adachi they're really good. Storywise it's less focused on the story aspect but more on the characters the game is focused more on the characters which it does really well, since I love these stupid characters and their hijinks except for some where they go a bit too far yosuke, but yeah I quite like this approach and helps the game a lot when the heaven arc starts although my least favorite part is the golden exclusive dungeon since the gimmick is interesting is easily abused with the rings, and I don't care much about that character specifically. Overall the game is deff my favorite when it comes to og personas not counting the remake ofc, but still if it's my second and entered my top 5, the characters, the feels, the atmosphere to it all is simply wonderful, I get it now why people love inaba, although small it's still an amazing place fill with amazing characters to meet and amazing activities to do Even if it lacks Tokyo's activities it's still charming and does not overload itself with content and I'm fine with it. Persona is a special series that I want more people (hopefully sane people) play, I will be taking a break from atlus games from now, but I'll return once I finish some games first thank you atlus for making these beautiful games
