While making a survival game, developers have to make sure that they're not crossing the very tiny line and that is making a game frustrating or not.

First of all i gotta say that the game feels just right about forest, you have to act like how you would if you were to be in a jungle like that in real life. You don't feel comfortable while roaming around trying to find things, you don't know what's lying beneath you and that makes you avoid getting into big bushes, long grasses etc. without getting paranoid (shorts ? really ? in a jungle like that ?). Creatures make you scared as well (like how they would in real life) for example if you were to see a steelseries-rgb-keyboard looking like thing irl your inner voice would tell you to avoid that thing because that thing is poisonous bro telling you. So for the ''nature'' part of the game i can easily say that they've made a good job and to be honest if there was a neutral option i would go for it instead of ''not recommended''.

BUT

For the survival part of it big big nos. HOW ON EARTH CAN SOMEONE GET HUNGRY EVERY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 5.39×10⁻⁴⁴ SECONDS BRO. YOU BREATHE IN YOU GET HUNGRY, YOU BREATHE OUT YOU GET HUNGRY, YOU REMEMBERED SOMETHING YOU GET HUNGRY, YOU EAT YOU GET HUNGRY WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥ ARE YOU MADE OF BRO ???? The game's logic thinks that every time you blink you get hungry but no developers, that's not how a real human body works. ''🤓👆 but by blinking your body consumes 8.234x10⁻⁴ calories'' NO BRO ♥♥♥♥ OFF IT DOESN'T. So imagine if you were an obese who weighs 1890 LBS you eat like what 30 meals a day ? THIS MOTHER ♥♥♥♥♥♥ EATS 10x MORE THAN A PERSON WHO IS AS HEAVY AS A FAMILY TRUCK. I JUST DON'T GET IT BRO WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥ WERE YOU GUYS THINKING WHILE MAKING THIS STUPID ASS MECHANIC.

I really want to go further in this game like i really wonder what's gonna happen between this couple but i can not bro. I don't feel like i'm surviving it's just feels so frustrating. In addition to everything the optimization is not so good, i'm barely getting 80 FPS with RTX 3060 x i5-12400f i've tried to adjust some settings but they didn't do much. So at the end of the day it's up to you whether giving it a try or not.
