One of the greatest strategy games ever made and I couldn't be happier that it is still getting new releases 20 years later. The Definitive Edition has added new high resolution detail and models for all the classic AoE 2 maps, building, and units you know and love. It also adds some nice QoL changes such as command stacking between different jobs and resources. The sound effects have been somewhat changed but the game absolutely still has the soul of the old Ages 2. If you love AoE or just want to try out a timeless masterpiece of a strategy game, pick this up without a second thought
