Yes, settle down Crescent. The source code was released in 97 and again in 99 under a different license. Since then so many Source ports have been released that Doom Classic is even based on them. Not paying for Doom is totally fine. Also, pirating software is fine as well if you live in a poor country and the devs/publishers don't localize the price if the game doesn't offer a demo or is exclusive to some store.
