Overall the concept and idea of the game is good and I would recommend it. It is worth the price for the amount of fun time you can have with it.

Positives:
+ Initially the game gives you some good frights and tension
+ Variety of characters, ethnics and aesthetics to pick and chose from
+ Variety of skills and abilities that are mostly unique and some have good synergy
+ Variety of maps
+ DLC costs are fair
+ Skin costs are fair
+ One of very few companies who communicates with the community
+ A lot of good license characters available
+ The game has a tutorial that explains the basics
+ Various ways to play the game (stealth / agressive)

Negatives:
- A few bugs here and there
- Some really annoying perks / addons on killers / survivors like 1 shot long range axes (to name an example), keys and moris (to name a few more)
- Matchmaking is pretty bad (but DBD is trying to fix this)
- Steep learning curve / unforgiving gameplay. You either have to learn and improve and adapt and overcome or you will be having a bad time as you climb ranks

I’m updating my old negative review. I've played Season 2, and what can I say? This season has become exactly what I feared the most. The amount of unbalanced issues in this patch is unbearable. Moves like Jack's jab string, which won’t let you play the game unless you powercrush, are broken to the core. Xiaoyu's insane pressure from backstance is even more broken now. Every character now has a full death combo on launch, so you basically play until one of you lands a launch, and then it's a GG.

I trusted Bamco and Harada, along with his friend Murray, but that trust has come to an end. I’m hoping to see a new balance patch that will nerf this circus ASAP, but I guess that's just a dream. I’ll continue playing the game because I love the Tekken universe and the characters, but the characters I love are starting to disappear with each new patch. I may drop this game in the future if it continues to add more aggression and erase characters’ identities with every update.

It’s quite depressing that a game with so much potential, one that gave me core memories with my friends and the people I met in this community, has become so horrible. Stay strong, Tekken Community. Maybe one day, this will just be a bad memory of poor developer decisions, and the game will shine again. But hey, that's probably just a dream. Thank you all for playing this game with me.
