Servers Closing for Sword Coast Legends
Hello Adventurers,

As of 10 a.m. ET, July 25, our multiplayer servers for the game will be taken offline and all stored player data will be deleted. If you own the game in your Steam library, you will still have access to any offline content including the single player campaign.

Thank you for playing and supporting Sword Coast Legends.

Thank you for the great game. Are downloaded modules considered offline content or will they disappear also? Because if they are stored locally I want to download as many as possible.

Ja que vao fechar os servidores na steam, não havera modo de habilitar jogar em lan via hamachi ou direct ip?

If SCL is going to turn the sign up page off they should remove the log on feature, I and a group of friends aren't able to even make it past the login wall with paid copies of the game to experience it for this last month or even access the single player campaign.

Will you add direct connect for co-op?

So I tested with a friend and lan play does not seem to work without the central servers. One cannot even log in to play in single player mode.

I appreciate the company is now shut down so this post was probably made in a hit and run style, but is the publisher going to do any remediation work to set this right?

Or at least open source the server code so we can? ...and the game if you aren't going to remove the login requirement?

Our party has not finished the main quest yet, and the decisions that mean this will be broken were all taken outside our control as customers. It's not like this is an MMO, we're talking about play between friends, which is what the game was marketed for. I hope there is a sense of fair play at the publisher end of things and we get at least the possibility in all this of playing the game we have all paid for, properly.

We as customers have got a bit of a raw deal at every stage of this story, please at least leave us with something.

i am very dissapointed now and also sad because it actually is a great game, but without multiplayer they should at least make it possible to play with friends without their servers.

also i think its really funny that the servers are closing because of the statement they made preciosly:

Gather your party for epic adventures before Sword Coast Legends disappears forever at the end of December, 2017!

Purchase Sword Coast Legends now at 67% off and receive the Rage of Demons DLC for free. Our publishing contracting is ending, but although Sword Coast Legends will no longer be available to purchase after December, its multiplayer servers will remain live indefinitely.

Cheers! That must be the shortest "indefinitely" of all time...!!!

Unfortunately, n-Space went bankrupt and its developers certainly moved on with their lives. I don't know who was responsible for promising the "indefinite time" but really that person or company should be made accountable for at least false advertising (or provide appropriate remedies for the situation). Is there any legal action that can be done?

usually the publisher or devs are responsible for false marketing and promises.

how sad.
so much promise, so much let down

also, starting to think online games should be required to open source the servers for the communiy once they don't give a ♥♥♥♥.

Is this happening to anyone else? The game is now crashing after I enter/leave some place.

Now did they edit and manipulate the announcement ??
I remember I bought the game when it was stated that :
its multiplayer servers will remain live indefinitely .
and now is :
its multiplayer servers will remain live for an indefinite, unspecified, amount of time .
