Baldur's gate, Divinity original sin and many other games does not require servers for coop. So what the reason developers do not add direct connection in this game?

Yeah but I move my save to second account and don't got ban there as other players who use DS3Manager.

On second account I played more than 10 hours with my friends and I don't receive the message "Caution: invalid data". I can use 3rd account in future. No big deal.

If you did and you still got banned, either your save got corrupted somehow, you installed some unsafe graphic mod or you had already picked up an illegit item from a cheater and didn't realize it.

I played about 40 hours after removing my friend's save. The thing is, after I was banned I continued to play on second account with my save, so there is no problem with my save. It might be a retroactive ban or something like that.

Save was before he started any dlc. So I don't get access to extra dlc or items.Did I breach the contract? Probably Yes. I don't complain about ban.But I don't interfere with other players or at least I hope so.

Any way if cheater can use family sharing what the point of this "ban"? And by "cheater" I mean people who use one shot kill trainer in pvp or something like this.

I was penalized because I used my friend save because I wanted a try "balanced build" but he has dlc "The Ringed City" and I don't so I get message "invalid game data". I remove this save and restore my save from backup, and week or two later I was banned. I move the save to new account (Family Sharing) and already played more than 10 hours in co-op and without any restriction. So what the point of this "ban" if any cheater can use family sharing?
