Tale of two Romes

Long ago, two halves of the Roman empire ruled the Mediterranean: Latin WEST and Greek EAST

Theodosius, Roman emperor in
his dying wish, hoped the empire
would reunite with his sons help.

Honorius and Arcadius,
ruled West and East.

One day. . . the West fell.
The East was left alone to carry on the legacy of Rome.

In bright memories, it even reached out
towards memories long lost.

As time went on, the empire
became very ill.

Its light grew weaker
one disaster at a time.

On May 29, 1453, Constantinople fell,
and with it the empire.

A brilliant campaign saved the empire,
starting in the year of 1445. . .

Soon after, a new enlightened ruler took over
the East, sparking an age of recovery.

Taking Kyoto on the few first turns as the Oda is easy, just ashigaru doom stack in on the shogun.
Otomo got the power of god, anime, and guns on their side.
Ikko Ikki got the power of rebellions, being a nuisance, and spreading jodo shinshu.
