This game is truly a Masterpiece it has tons of replay value, alot unique scenarios and you are always afraid for the well being of your Men.

Most people say it hast to much RNG and that is to an extend true, but just like in real life ♥♥♥♥ is gonna happen and that what keeps it interesting if you win everything without even an ounce of danger it would get stale and to predictable and no matter how good you prepare there is always that one rogue element that can f*** you over.
(Not in a bad way, i like the challenge and i suppose most that play these kind of games do)

BUT you can negate almost all of the RNG if you now which fights to take, which men to use for which role and how to equip your Brothers for example Bandages, Antidotes and so on...

You don´t need to be a hero if you see a caravan with valuables why don´t dabble a bit as a raider,
or go the Trader Route Buying and selling stuff from town to town.
You can even make a living as a Beasthunter by entirely hunting Monsters and selling theire hides or start crafting a necklace out of monster tooth, make yourself a nice Direwolf mantle and instill fear in the hearts of your enemies.

After many hours in your campaign you get to know your Men you start to hate or love them for example i had that one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that only wanted more money and never amounted to anything he survived two Cleavers in the face he lost his nose to a mindcontrolled Brother as we protected the son of a local nobleman from a Hexe and lost his eye due to a Goblin Wolfrider that just happened to rob the caravan we escorted through a swampy road, but suddenly started to dodge every hit an orc Warlord throws at him, solo´s him and save two Brothers that would have bled out in this fight.
He died after 564 days in the company, gutted by the Beast of Beasts, his savings were sent to is 4 ex wives and 7 children.

Every death tells a story (If you are willing to read) and progresses your adventure.
This game has a lot of reading but don´t feel to bad if you are illiterat you still can be used as distraction for your not so brainless Brothers in Arms.

So in conclusion i rate this game 11 out of 10 dead Brigand Poachers that one shot your Bannerman behind a shield wall.
