I've played this through more than once, When The Past Was Around is a simple relaxing game that i will miss for a weeks after i finished it. Back in 2018 when i first played a Raven Monologue and Banyu Lintar Angin i wish there is little bit more longer and maybe put something like a puzzle based on point and clicks because i really enjoyed it. The art style it's so beautiful that i really wish i can draw something like that one day and don't forget about the soundtracks it is super chill and lovely. After i've heard they going to released the game that something similiar i'm super excited and now here i am, I'm not disappointed at all. it is really great, beautiful art style, amazing soundtrack and now with puzzle! I really liked the way they tell the story without any dialogue at all they just.. like.. you'd know has some meaning and you figure it out like a raven with a "rock" and now Eda with hers memories. Sure worth experiencing especially during this difficult time, this is just touch your soul.

Pros
+The art is absolutely beautiful and I love the designs for everything.
+Amazing soundtrack especially the soundtrack at the end of credit, I can listening to that all day.
+Heartwarming & Bittersweet stories.
+The gameplay is simple but entertaining puzzles, not too hard, not too easy.

Cons
-Just some minor bug, At chapter 3 i'm stuck and can't progeses the game because there is puzzle that won't open even though that was the correct answered so i'm restart the game and played it again all the way in the begining of chapter 3 because there were just have autosave.

When the past was arround is non dialogue game, The game is short story about a girl named Eda and her memories. Eda really likes playing musical instruments and she really loved it but as the time goes by she starting to hate it and doesn't want to played anymore, One day she heard a melodious sound of violin, she started to follow the sound where it came for and take her to the garden where she first meet him.

The game is pretty relaxing, you just only need mouse to play, it's point and click relaxing game. The game manages to explain you its mechanics without a single word. Basically the player has to drag the item that you found to interact with an object you gonna open/used. There's also like popping a bubble and mini puzzle. The whole game is based on the puzzles where the player has to solved it to the next chapter.

One of the best part of this game. I really loved the soundtrack it is amazing and the music was different for the different situation and you could tell how the game was going based on the tune it perfectly works along with everything that you see on the screen.

Mojiken studios really has a charm to making similar games like this, it's beautiful. Im looking forward for the next game they will going to made.

A great sequel from Space Marine (2011), so many improvement on combat that make things more satisfying and most of time you find yourself surrounded with full of horde and make you thinking you wouldn't made it but you made it anyway. The main story is pretty simple just like the previous one honestly, but rather than just rush straight toward objective and with very clunky map design, at least in Space Marine 2 there is some improvement with world design that you can walk arround first and feel the atmosphere of Warhammer 40K universe. And let me tell you, the details on world design in this game is very impressive, I can just give this game 10/10 just for the world design it self. It's really have warhammer vibes, from the beginning toward the end, you can just randomly take a screenshot and it can be your new wallpaper.

Pros
+The world design is very impresive, you can tell the designer really appreciate the Warhammer 40K universe.
+So much improvement combat form Space Marine (2011) melee combat is much more satisfying now, and oh dont forget about melta gun, that gun is shredded everything.
+Your own companion brothers have their own motive and have some narative at least. it make your squad more alive and meaningful.
+They have PVP and PVE after your finish your campaign or when still in campaign. its really rare to see video games these day to have both PVP and PVE content.
+ Is not a live service game, but apparently the developers still have some plans for future updates.

Cons
- For the game that come from universe that have so much lore apparently the lore in this game is very little and simple. Just like Space marine 1 there is no much lore in the world that you have played, you see.. they have Dataslate sort of like BioShock audio diaries. But Dataslate in this game is really boring and not much added to main story or not make it the world more interesting. And to make it worse these Dataslate are very hidden. Im type of player who seeking the lore and check every corner of the map and yet im still missing some of dataslate. atleast in Bioshock you can see these diaries everywhere and so much interesting and have their own additional strories that make the world much alive.
- (PVP) Im playing pvp just Day 2 after release, and oh sweet terra have a mercy.... so many cheater with infinite grenade in pvp. the game itself have their own anticheat but it doesnt work i guess.

The continues story after the original Space Marine. Captain Titus had been imprisoned and tortured for a century, but eventually he was freed and allowed to return but no longer as a captain. The main story is quite short, simple and yet still interesting at least for me, especially if you Warhammer fans or have played Space Marine before. The main campaign is around 6-8 hours but im very much enjoyed it every minutes of it, im rather have 8 hours of full enjoyment rather than 20 hours of nothingness. Unlike the original Space Marine, when the story it just about Captain Titus at least in Space Marine 2 the stories is arround him and his chapters.

For the main campaign and the PVE i'd say is really good and satisfying. It really improve from everything you hoped for in the original Space Marine. The horde of tyranids swarmp you and you have really overpowered gun that can blast them and melt them. The bolt and plasma gun now is not useless anymore and can be good in battle. The melee attack like chainsaw and of course the warhammer (hehe) have satisfying animation when you used them. Many animation like dash is not clunky anymore. and if you are good at the game you can parry the attack of the enemies rather than dodge them.

Sadly the gameplay for pvp isnt for me. And dont get me wrong, the pvp is pretty good but even though if you are in top frag and can kill many enemies, still there is something is missing, it just like when you killed the enemies but it just feel empty. I dont know what is called but i just hoping pvp is more intense and have satisfying combat effect. i just hope is more like Tintanfall 2 multiplayer kinda thing when there is a bot (like guardsmen) to make it more interesting and alive.

I think the soundtrack are good but is not really memorable tbh. I dont quite remember which the soundtrack in Space Marine 2 that have special in my heart like 'The Only Thing They Fear Is You' from DOOM or 'Rory O'More / Saddle The Pony' from Bioshock Infinite, i guess none from Space Marine 2. But hey at least the sounds really capture in every scene and get the job done especially at the end.

Space Marine 2 has much improve from the original and the attention to the Warhammer 40K worlds and it details is really impresive. The combat it much satisfying and not feel clunky anymore. Is it worth it? well for the gold/ultra edition still debated since there is no much content for it prices, but for Standard Edition its very worth it especially if you are Warhammer 40k fans. Like people have said it before, 40K fans are super protective of the ip and demolish stuff they don’t like so the positive reception to the game says volumes.
