Its a shame this game hasn't blown up. As far as co-op horror, this is easily the most unique game I've had the pleasure of playing. I haven't tried solo and cant imagine how that would turn out but playing with a buddy was a blast. Death in Unison takes a lot of coordination with your partner in juggling tasks and does a tremendous job at keeping you tense and on your toes at all times. There's also some optional lore via emails, data files, and secret logins that I'd highly recommend engaging with because the story is actually really good. Trust me, if you're tired of shuffling through all the dumpster trash of horror coop games being pumped out, you've gotta try Death in Unison. Also, say hi to Happy for me. He's a good boy.

Friend: Do you know what's even going on in this game?
Me: Not a ******* clue.

I can't tell you what Noch is about because honestly, I don't even think the devs know what's going on. Noch is an experience. Its jank. But, its good jank. Like, chef's kiss jank.

Noch feels like an incoherent dream. The kind of dream you have when you're fading in and out of sleep in a cheap motel after a long night of booze and cocaine. There's a story here, sure, but its strung together by cheap RGB light strips and dirty bed sheets.

I love it.

Best experienced with a friend.
