Sunless Sea is a fantastic rogue like. I had serious reservations about this game when a friend insisted I try it on their system. Fast forward an hour and I was hooked. The writting is a bit on the cheesy side but actually tends to lend itself well to the overall feel of the game. The map randomizes just enough between plays to keep you on your toes, but not so much that the knowledge you gain from previous captains becomes useless. The combat mechanic is very fun, albeit a bit on the simple side.

Overall a fantastic purchase that I'm still enjoying a year after my first playthrough!

This one is one hell of a doozy. Do you want a Power Rangers fighting game? Do you want it to be multiplayer? Do you want it to move as fast as MvC? If your answer is yes you are looking at the right game! It is going to kick your ass, hard, souls hard, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is it fun. Crazy ass combos, broken characters, looking at you Eric Myers, but fun as all hell. When you start getting the blocking and push blocks down, as well as finding assist characters that work for you this game is a blast, a horrid pretty ugly blast, but a blast none the less. Grab it while its on sale and you won't be sorry!
