Took a gamble (ha!) and bought Balatro on a whim because 1) I’ve been curious about it for the longest time and 2) I’ve heard nothing but great reviews on this game. I’m so glad I decided to buy this and wish I would have bought it sooner!

I went in not knowing *anything* about poker, yet I was surprised at how relatively easy it is to follow. I’m hooked and can easily lose myself for hours playing this game! It has easily become my “go to” game when I don’t know what I want to play or feel like playing anything else.

If you’re like me and have been curious about Balatro or have been on the fence, this is your sign to buy it. I also love that it’s Steam Deck verified and plays flawlessly on the Deck itself. I highly recommend this game!

One year ago, Playstack and I launched Balatro, and what a journey it has been!

I often said that I made this game for myself and that I wasn't expecting anything to become of it. Seeing so many people connect with Balatro has overwhelmingly filled this year with joy, so from the bottom of my heart thank you to all players that decided to give this game a shot. Your love and support have kept Balatro thriving, and it wouldn't be possible without you.
