This list aims to be a reference point to those who have tried the all-encompassing Zombies All-Around Enhancement mod and liked it, but aren't sure whether their favourite custom maps work with it, or simply want a wiki to check every once in a while to know about the state of compatibility for new and old maps.

All custom maps are catalogued alphabetically and have a rating depending on their current status, plus additional information if any. The status of maps compatibility changes frequently depending on the updates made to this mod and the maps themselves. For this reason, you can find the version of the mod on which each map was tested against, so that outdated testing is not mistaken to be the current iteration. Custom maps not found on this list can still work, they have just not been officialy tested yet.

The map ratings refer to the FULL version of the mod with all the weapons and camos.
The LITE version of this mod removes all weapons and camos as well as some sounds and it can be used instead to play heavier maps such as SEPPUKU which are confirmed not to work with the main version of the mod.

Custom maps can refuse to work with this mod for a variety of reasons such as incompatible scripts, other mods dependencies, reached assets limits etc... Assets limits can usually be solved from this mod's side, by removing assets such as weapons or camos to free up space and allow the map to work. Do keep in mind however that some maps are not optimized very well and aren't worth tweaking this mod over. Ask the mapper for a compatibility hotfix instead or play the LITE version of the mod for increased compatibility.

Glossary
✅ = The map is working on the FULL version of the mod that was tested at the time. Some of them have additional information in case something minor in the map isn't working, or if extra steps are needed to launch the map.

❌ = The map does not work or does not allow for progression with the FULL version of the mod that was tested at the time. The LITE version of the mod can be used instead to significantly increase compatibility with the map. The outcomes of using LITE on broken maps are undocumented.

❎ = The map does not work but can be modified to work by installing the Official Support Modification linked below the map.

Nazi Zombies Censorship Removal
A patch that restores all the censored german flags to their original nazi version can be downloaded and installed from the aae-patchs channel on the discord server. Keep in mind that this patch makes the mod take up more space, meaning heavier maps such as Call of The Dead won't work while you are using it. Always keep a backup of the original file to use when you want to play heavier maps. All the maps on this list are tested without the nazi textures for maximum compatibility.
Frequently Asked Questions
The perk icons aren't lined up correctly and/or are hidden
  • This is a visual bug that happens on maps that use custom perk indicators, it doesn't affect the perk system in anyway and you still retain all your current perks. You can get rid of it by disabling the timed perk loss gameplay feature.
HUD elements are overlapping each other
  • Custom maps can include their own HUD elements such as zombie counter, player health and much more. These can overlap with existing HUD options from this mod. To solve the issue, head over to TF options and disable the HUD features that are overlapping. Alternatively, certain custom maps also allow you to toggle their HUD elements.
Custom map xxx is not working
  • Make sure you are not using the custom nazi textures patch as this can make heavy maps unusable. If the map still doesn't work even without this patch, you should try the LITE version of the mod for maximum compatibility. If the map is still not working, and it's a major one that's too hard to pass (e.g Call of The Dead), extra measures can be taken by k7Ysh5A_4.1. to make it work, such as removing less valuable assets to free up space or fix possible script errors. In most cases, the mapper is the only one who can make the map compatible without compromising the features of this mod. Ask him/her for a compatibility hotfix.
Are the maps tested for 8 or 10 player compatibility?
  • No, maps are only tested on the standard 4 player mode without having extra player support enabled. The extra player support may or may not work depending on the complexity of the map and its easter eggs.
Gambler and/or bank cannot be reached and used due to their position
  • The gambler and bank auras are positioned right on the player spawn location in custom maps due to the sheer amount of them. This location is perfect for the vast majority of times, though there can be rare cases where this is not the case and the spawn location is not suitable for this. In this case report the map to k7Ysh5A_4.1. on discord[discord.com] for a possible fix.
How can I aid the progress and development of this list?
  • The best way to help this list and help maintain it as time goes on and updates come out, is to report already tested maps which state has changed due to this mod's updates or the maps themselves updating. Of course, the people who are reporting obscure and harder to find maps or simply maps that have not been added are appreciated, but we already know what is missing. What we don't know is whether the maps already on the list that were tested against older versions of the mod still have the same rating against the latest version. It is impossible for us to track hundreds of maps everytime an updates comes out, both mentally and physically. Some maps are noted when particular changes come out in the mod to be tested later, but this is not always enough. Be sure to report any map you play on the latest version of the mod that is already on this list but that was tested against an older version of the mod, or has been updated by their author. This will allow the list to remain accurate and updated with the latest versions.

Then I am afraid that the map is just incompatible. I don't think Kisha will free up space on his mod for it. You can try asking the map author to do it instead.

Are you using the new bo3 enhanced? AAE does not currently have support for it, but it will in the future.

its not working on any map for me or my friend we just get stuck at waiting for players
