Literally one of the best games I have ever played

The FF13 trilogy also has some of the best OSTs I have ever heard from a game and thats coming from a guy who absolutely loves XV's soundtrack. Story-wise this game touches on themes such as revenge, despair, facing hopeless, not doubting yourself, to try even if it means failing, keeping your dreams alive, etc and it all blends together really well into a wholesome package. Every character goes through strong development throughout the story and you begin to appreciate why they are the way they are and what they have changed into despite their struggles. This game kept me going when I needed it the most.

"Maybe it won't do much, maybe only one person will listen to us. But even then, isn't trying better than doing nothing?"

Gameplay-wise its linear levels for almost the entire way through, the combat needs some understanding of how the paradigm shifting works but once you have that down you're good to go. The ATB gauge system may not be for everyone but it definitely should not deter you from the game, even if you think it gets repetitive at times.

My only negative of this game is that it forces you to do some reaaaalllly bad grinding when you reach Pulse because you're gonna get cheesed by everything there. Just get a trainer or something to level you up to save you from pointless hours of grinding, it is not fun and it kills the game.

This is one of those games everyone must play at some point, very much worth your time
