The irrational TF2 fan side of my would be quick to diss the game, but I would be lying if I said it wasn't fun.

While having questionable monetisation and progression for unlocking cosmetics, not even mentioning story, the core game play and characters are fun to play as and play against. It is a solidly built team based FPS and I would recommend it to anyone who likes that genre.

PlanetSide 2 is a an older school Free2Play MMO FPS release 10 years ago this year. Being from an older time, before the scourge of mobile games, the free 2 play model used by the game is very charitable and largely allows players to make meaningful progress without feeling the need to pay. I myself have never paid for anything in the game, and still greatly enjoyed my time.

The game play itself is enjoyable though at times a bit clunky. Movement seems slow and general mobility seems limited. However this is remedied by readily available vehicles that you can spawn almost at any point on the map. Gun play is serviceable, and has satisfying gun fights and kills. If I were to compare the game to anything, I could say it plays like a sci-fi Battlefield title.

I recommend giving it at least a try, as it is free, but beware it does use a launcher like most MMOs.

An enjoyably relaxing third person stealth game with a surprisingly interesting story.

A solid story driven game that earns its name in the Life is Strange franchise, as well as its 9/10 average score.

With likeable characters, picturesque environments and life-like animations. True Colours is truly a beautiful game.

A great Grand Strategy Game, especially for those who enjoy history.

They don't call it the "Garry's Mod of Grand Strategy" for nothing.

A surprisingly well thought out game for what I initially thought would be a glorified tech demo. My only request is to have larger objects affected by physics.

A great tactical shooter that is always adding fresh characters with new mechanics.

+Points for allowing DLC premium characters to be reasonably priced.

The game is a great throwback to early 2000s type LAN party shooters. Proving the old formula still has a place in the modern video game landscape. I cannot wait until the SDK is released to see what the community can create.

Think of this as a Hitman 1.5, it is not drastically different from the previous installment. But in the end, did it need to be?

Honestly I only heard of this game because some people were talking about how you could make a horse the general of your army. But I really stayed because I was able to conquer all of europe and the middle east as the great Irish Empire who happened to be pagan.
