"After reading Pyrhuss's post, even though my flight mode was off already I went to settings>>network & Internet>>flight mode, and sure enough, under wireless adapters, Xbox Wireless was turned off. Turned it back on and everything works fine."
Unfortunately for me, my desktop does not have Wi-Fi on board so there is no way to access additional Airplane Mode settings other than the ON/OFF switch at the lock screen. LUCKILY I was able to force my pc to make the settings available by installing an old USB Wi-Fi Adapter I had laying around, which forced new drivers to be installed (Giving me Wi-Fi settings and Airplane Mode settings).
I figured I would share this story here (the original thread was locked by a mod) because I'm sure others may come across the same issue.
SO THANK YOU!

Si planeas adqurir varios DLC's, mejor esperate para CK3 con sus DLC's, al fin y cabo que CK3 contendrá el mismo contenido o mejor.
