Persona 3 has always had an amazing place in my heart. It's one of the most influential games in my life, and I can link it to my own creative process, writing, and tastes. It's one of the most beautiful stories and tales about friendship, death, and strength in any media.

RELOAD is a fresh repackaging of the original experience. That's not bad, it's actually very good! It twists expectations of experienced veterans like myself, while making the daunting task of Persona 3 welcoming to newcomers. All the visuals, audio, voice acting, and combat is a visceral, and surreal as ever before. The characters feel more alive and real, with their struggles just as vivid.

If you've never played a Persona title, here's where to start. This is the height of the entire franchise, and a should be a staple in "Greatest Games of All Time". It will always be in my top 5 games, and is why everyone should attempt to play it, anime fan or not.
