Hi everyone...

This group is a Guide for anyone who is looking for this specific type of Adventure games in steam or in general.

so what is our group point and click Horror Games ?

1- scary / creepy / frightening / psychological horror point and click or adventure game.
2- there has to be some story element, not only puzzles.
3- no real danger, no dying, no mission failed, no monsters that can harm you directly. [There are few exceptions on this list, games that have death / mission failed in them. (eg: walking dead series) but those games are still more toward adventure / point click horror than survival horror.]
4- no weapons, no hiding required.
5- some pnc / adventure / walking sim games arent meant to be a horror ones, but still succeed in creeping or scaring you.
6- No visual novel games and No hidden object games.

i have divided this type of (point and click/adventure) Horror game in this group'sDiscussionsinto 4 subtypes :

1- First person perspective + with free movement (amnesia style).
2- First person perspective + with fixed movement (myst style).
3- Third person perspective (monkey island style).
4- games that are not in steam.

sorry i am not updating the group since a while now (work problems) i dont even have the time to play :(
i was wondering if someone would like to join as an Adminstrator and update it and make it even bigger ? or have a better sugestion.

The adventure “Black Mirror” from the Czech studio Future Games was a highlight of the 2000s. Now this genre classic is getting a prequel. A campaign is currently running on the crowd funding platform HITHIT. Possibly and depending on publisher support, English and German translations and dubbing are also being considered. In my opinion one of the most exciting point and click adventure projects. I'm very excited. Here is the link to the campaign.
